It is the first time I have used Car Store to sell a car, firstly the estimated sell price given was more in line with what I was looking to sell at. Booking an appointment for my car to be inspected was very easy, Natalie was excellent in assuring me of how the process worked, after all the paperwork and car was checked, then emailed to head office and the final selling price given which I accepted, The monies were deposited in my bank some 3 hours latter. I have told many of my friends about Car Store and it is more than possible I will use them again, Excellent service.

Purchased a car from this garage yesterday really pleased with the service we recieved. After having a really bad car purchase experience recently with another garage not Evans Halshaw we were really worried about purchasing our next car but as soon as we walked into Evans Halshaw the salesman Dasi  put us at ease and was so helpful and understanding. He explained all we needed to know and then left me and my partner to discuss how we felt about purchasing the car. After we confirmed we were happy to continue with the purchase the transaction went through quickly and smoothly. Tonight we’ve had a courtesy call from Dasi to make sure we are still happy and to make sure everything is all good with the car. Excellent service from all members of staff that dealt with us and would recommend this garage to friends and family. Thanks Craig and Rachel

Avoid at all cost. I have had a terrible experience with this place. To start with all was great but the moment you drive of with a vehicle they do not want to know you. I have had endless problems with my vehicle which I reported while under warranty and nothing has been done about it. This week things got worse when I took my car to a ford dealership for a recall. Ford have detected even more problems that should have been picked up before selling on. So much for the AA checks that they claim that are carried out. Basically this is costing me a lot of money to correct but I am keeping every receipt as I am in the process of taking further action. I traded in a perfectly good car and thought I was buying one in return. This has caused me so much stress and a big dent in my bank balance. I will fight till the end on this matter. All I wanted was the issues corrected and I would have been happy. Instead i feel like driving the car back and dumping it outside until it is dealt with or I get a refund. I have basically been driving a dangerous car with my kids in it and I am furious. Sorry if this puts you off but I’m just speaking the truth that’s what reviews are for.

I sold my car through Evans Halshaw in Birmingham yesterday. Although, I have to admit, I went in to sell the car on Saturday and had a rather different experience not all Car Store’s fault I must add. Jaguar hadn’t updated my service history on their online portal which meant the quotation was nowhere near the online price quoted. The guy assured me that once I could prove it had service history they would honour the price. However, when I had the proof. The figures still came back astronomically low. This really grated on me as I knew it had service history and wished I had just waited another couple of days to sort it out with Jaguar. However, when I phoned the branch and explained what happened on Monday morning, Tom Lewis was extremely understanding and thought there had been a mix up in the system. He was able to honour the online price which I have to be honest, I was quite sceptical about, as I’ve never sold my car this way before and heard stories that you get hammered down on the price. This was definitely not the case here!!!. Tom actually made it an extremely smooth process and I was out the door in around 30 minutes. Tom definitely made a bad experience turn into an experience I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to sell a car. I will miss the car, but it will make somebody extremely happy.

I have recently bought a car from here which I am very pleased with.  The transaction did take longer than I had anticipated, and I was passed between a few people. However, each person who I dealt with was very friendly and professional.  It is worthwhile to note that they do not negotiate on the price which I only found out about on the day - although I tried they were adamant about this. However, a quick Internet search suggested their prices are competitively matched or at least they were on the day I checked The part exchange was quite reasonable.  Overall, I am very happy with the car I purchased and the service I received.

Bought a car from here. Service was great. Tee and Tab were very friendly and helpful. Offered us a great deal and Allowed us to take our time, no pressure to buy. Would definitely recommend. Made the whole purchase really easy, thanks for all your help.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would! They make promises that they don't want to keep and then they lie about it and keep postponing you! We were promised a spare car key and car mats. We've been postponed and lied to for more than 3 months now. Once you buy your car and you leave their store, that's it! They will just wash their hands off you! Calling them, an absolute nightmare! Very unprofessional, laughing in the background and there's never a manager around to talk to! There are many other more professional and serious places where you could buy your car from! I would avoid this one!

I fully agree with the reviews posted by other people regarding this branch. Most unprofessional customer service experience I've ever received. We were told by the business manager to leave the premises when we tried to discuss the price based on their price guarantee schemeI've 2 witnesses to the whole incident if someone needs an impartial review. I've been using them for my car service & maintenance at a different location, but I'll never deal with Evans Halshaw again and never recommend anyone I know to deal with them.

I initially selected several online companies to value my vehicle and Evans Halshaw - a trusted motor dealer came up with the best price.  Once accepted I was immediately led to book an inspection at Bristol Car Store online  - I visited the agent who was extremely efficient and guided me through the process.  Please note: While the paperwork can be a little daunting you need to appreciate that it is there to protect you and the dealer from potential fraud.  The price offered was confirmed, within a very short time I received full payment.  If like me you feel uncomfortable about selling your vehicle privately I would not hesitate to recommend Evans Halshaw - a very respectful company

Good service right throughout in getting me the car I wanted. Pleasant staff and nice place. Though I had some issues with finance, Tee was patient and very supportive and got it done - much appreciate it. Nice experience in getting the car and Tab was very good in getting the car transferred to me, helping me drive on the same day.
