Be VERY careful when entering this service station as the entrance is extremely tight. Take it nice and slow as you enter. Apart from that, decent little services, has everything you need with a Burger King, Greggs, WHS Smith and Costa Coffee. Ladies toilets were nice and clean considering it’s a busy stop off point. Useful to stop here if I’m back in the area.
A pretty basic motorway service area. Had a takeaway Costa which was up to there usual standard. Had pasties from Greg's shed outside, served by teenagers who couldn't give a hoot in terms of service.
Stopped here for the Tesla Superchargers. Directions and signage were poor. There were plenty of fast chargers, but reasonably busy, so I had to use an occupied pair, but these seemed to handle it.
A welcome rest stop on our way north, watch out as bit of a tight turn into the carpark! Inside layout was a bit confusing - they have a lot to fit in - but it's OK and a reasonable selection is on offer. Watch out for the large pothole on exit! Not sure who is responsible for repair Moto, local council or highways agency....
Use this place whenever travelling that way. Now I'm disabled though, it occurs to me that the door next to the disabled parking bays should perhaps actually be open for use, otherwise its a much longer walk back up the ramp and in the main door then back down to the toilets, making it much less accessible! I will say the chap who served me in Costa was very nice and kindly carried my order for me back to my car as I have to use 2 crutches. Outstanding, thank you!
Car park was very full. As electric car charging is installed the main carpark is shrinking. It would be good to expand it as on busy days it's packed.
Busy car park and it's manned by cameras which sometimes get information incorrect so be careful about your times. It serves burger king, M&S. W h Smith and greggs.
Gregs food was freezing, prices in WHSmith was ridiculous, but to top it off the pay for parking only allowes 2 hours but if your here longer you get fined when I try to pay your only given a days parking even if your only there for over two hours your paying £15+ to park this is unreal.
By motorway service standards small and tired. Greggs no shelter from heavy rain, extremely limited menu, helpful and friendly staff.
Average services But has a dangerously big pot hole on the exit. Big enough to break suspension, wheel and tyre. If it is raining and/or dark you will never see it.
