I was at the self check out and was told that the next time I come to shop and use the thicker carrier bags I have to scan them since the check out screen charge for bags is for the thin bags. The bags are 9p and 5p so I used 2 x thicker bags so owe you 8p, although I had been previously told not to enter then until the end of my shop in case I bought too many. So, I get to my car and was pulled up by another staff member to say I am not to take the small baskets out in case the wheels get damaged! Where are your signs telling the above info??? Also on many occasions you have items out of stock. Maybe there just won't be a ''next time" for me so I can avoid the carrier bag police and the shopping basket police. I can do without these unwritten rules to be honest.

Service at Cafe was very slow. Waited over 15mins for a bowl of soup to be heated !!! It was tasty when it arrived but by that time my sister had finished her cuppa and tea cake. Not impressed especially as cafe was not busy.

Always clean and tidy and the staff have always been pleasant and helpful especially the 2 Debbie's. They're amazing. One of them went rite to the back of a full storeroom to get me soft brown sugar. Thanks girls you deserve 5⭐. Regards Sandra Aitken

I usually buy 8 ( at most 10) 2ltr bottles of water for kettle, as our tap water at home tastes horrible even when boiled for tea or coffee. Today however I wasn’t allowed to buy more than 6. I complained at checkout and customer services as this will cause me great inconvenience (e.g. extra journeys to the store, if I keep shopping there?). Apparently a few people (buying in bulk) have spoiled it for the rest of us (according to the checkout operator). More like Asda management have spoiled it for genuine customers by implementing an idiotic rule to annoy and inconvenience thousands of people rather than actually telling a few people that they cannot buy a pallet full of water at a time! The lady at customer services actually suggested that maybe a supervisor could arrange a bulk order for me. Unbelievable, all I want to do is to be able to buy what I want/need when I want/need it! A bit of common sense is all that was needed to see that I wasn’t going to take my 8 bottles to stock the shelf of my shop (or any other business) that I don’t actually have. Well Done Asda on how to lose a good customer who spends thousands in your shop every year. I suggest that the person(s) who put this stupid rule in place needs to find a different job that doesn’t involve annoying customers and losing money. If you have to limit number of units, why 6? It doesn’t make any sense. What about customers having parties etc. Will they have to make multiple trips to Asda beforehand or leave the party half way through for another ‘6 x whatever?’. Idiotic idea Asda, stop making life more difficult for genuine customers and challenge the few who really are buying in bulk.

Enjoyed my trip to Asda Glenrothes, my friend and I went mostly for a coffee, the cafe is very spacious and it is very accessible, as there is a lift. Had a quick look round the store, which is very well laid out with plenty of choice.
