Worst store manager in Milton keynes. Dont bother going in there. Ordered a high chair online but not satisfied with the product. My baby does not feel comfortable and does not fit properly. Called up the store and explained the situation. They asked me to bring the chair and said would be happy to exchange. But after taking it there, store manager denied the return saying it was used. Why the hell did they asked me to bring it in the first place when I clearly said that we used it but not happy with the product as its not comfortable. We spend hundreds of pounds in mothercare for hoping to find best things for our babies but its appalling service!

This shop is well laid out and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are very fair because you get quality merchandise. Mothercare take their reputation seriously.

Extremely poor customer care, the staff needs to be trained on how to interact with a customer. No smile and rude. With regards to my specific issue, we bought a bath tub for our little daughter and when we tried to fill it we found that the plug to be defective and wouldn't seal the bottom properly. I took it back to the store (after a week and we'll within the statutory return period). When I explained my issue to the sales assistant, to my surprise she said we need to test that there's no issue with the product. I was amazed by this response as she said to me in a tone that as if I was lying no politeness or explanation given. I agreed and she disappeared into a room in the store, after returning she said there's no issue with the product and therefore she won't accept the return! Ion disagreed, and I fact I showed her that the plug wasn't still closing properly, she insisted and at a raised voice that there's no issue with the product and hence she wouldn't accept it. At this point the manager got involved and there was still no apology but to keep things calm she agreed a refund. This is not the first time I experienced such a rude, unfriendly customer treatment from this branch. Will avoid this beach and quiet possibly mother care altogether, it'd rather do my shopping online at least you get treated as a real customer.!

Popped in here slightly daunted by pushchairs (and how much they cost) to be greeted with a smile and some extremely helpful staff who gave a really good impartial no pressure guide. Left feeling fully informed of the different options and confident we knew what we needed to in order to make an informed purchase. The product training had clearly paid off, great store.
