Interesting pub. We found it on a list of best secret pubs in Liverpool and it was very interesting. We arrived on a karaoke night and found it to be very hopping. The karaoke was been backed up by a live band which made it very cool.Food: 5/5
Went here in April of 23. Had a great time! Did karaoke and had a ton of fun. Just went back in February of 24 on a Thursday night. We were stopped at the door by two guys and told we couldn't come in because i was wearing black sweatpants and tennis shoes. While leaving, i looked and and saw that the place was empty. What a joke. I know they are trying to keep up with the other clubs in the area, but to turn money away on a Thursday night when you are empty is not the way to do it. This is especially true when you call yourself a "dive bar". Clearly, they should research that term. What a joke.
Used to like it here and was a regular bringing in a LARGW group of students weekly , male bar tender was extremely aggressive and rude. Will not be returning. Suggest you teach ur staff some manners.Food: 1/5
Can anyone let me know why the door policy of no access for lone males has been implemented please? I arrived last night around midnight but was refused entry after being asked “Who are you with” Door security where polite enough but said the owners didn’t want single males at the venue. Seems discriminatory and perhaps you can start a membership system for people like myself who just want to sing

Excellent bar, the live karaoke is totally unique and the band is fantastic. Drinks are more expensive than other places on sleet street/seel Street. So bear that in mind if you're looking for a cheap night out. Side note: the DJ last night 15/09/2023 was brilliant!
Love this place! Started coming about 2 years ago and have since become a regular - always amazing service and atmosphere & drinks are always 10/10! 100% recommend to anyone in the area.
Best bar in town. Great music, good selection of ale. Atmosphere is brilliant. Love the setting of the place. Hands down the best bar in Liverpool.
