Just picked up our Christmas food order and like last year very easy to do you find the converted trolley bay and there is someone waiting with the orders. We also had a click and collect normal shopping once we figured out how it worked again very easy to do. My husband did say the shop looked as if it had been busy earlier So if planning to go into shop go early-ish
The workers are so nice and friendly. Attending with their faces beaming with warm smiles. One gave my wee boy a balloon Christmas as gift.
My friend took me to morrisons and the prices are ok on certain items , mainly the non necessities and I found the cashier to be rather rude . I asked for the cheaper packaging and I was told there was none , only the 80p carrier bags and when I said that's not very good she then replied " carry it then " and I thought that was rather a disrespectful answer, for anyone who's going to shop there I suggest you bring your own carrier bags.
It's a shop that sells Tesco Value quality food for more than big brand. Unless you want farm fresh meat, poultry and fish don't bother. It thinks it's Waitrose or Marks & Spencer's but forgot it doesn't have those high quality standards
I have lived and worked and shopped in Paisley for 25 years, lived here all my life. I have never stolen anything in my life. The security staff at Morrisons store in Paisley always take an interest in me when I shop there, either walking past me down an aisle or appearing at my side. I usually just brush it aside as they are doing their jobs but today as i was leaving, the guard left his post to intercept as I was leaving and I ended up boxed in by one of the seemingly endless parade of diddering old people in this case a lady who couldnt work her zip and an old man with a trolley. I dont know how to remedy this? Perhaps write to management ahead of any potential visit with photographic I.D and a disclosure form? Wear a tuxedo? Perhaps these generally unemployable security types need to go back to school and learn about unconscious biases. If it weren't for the cooked chicken I wouldnt be coming back.
A good big shop but found it really expensive could get the same groceries cheaper in tesco and asda
Decent enough shop, you can always get a decent meal deal from Morrisons, and the hot food they have on offer is usually better than that of Asda so can't really complain eh?
Well stocked shelves and well-spaced aisles making it easy to get about whist pushing a wheelchair. Staff all very friendly and genuinely interested in their customers. Prefer Paisley store instead of my local.
The store is ok but has plenty of room for improvement. Counters are an asset for customers and something other supermarkets are doing away with but when you are at the counter there is always something wrong. Such as they won't open a packet of meat later in the day because then it looses a day they can display it so they will only open it the following morning. Little things. The party shop is used more as a dumping ground for pallets and other cages etc and always looks a mess. They are constantly out of helium so won't fill your balloons that you technically pay for with the balloon but do sell disposable helium canisters The bakery is very large for the amount it produces and always seems to make the wrong items as they've always got tonnes of the same stuff and none of what everyone buys and its the same products. They don't have many checkouts open so need to increase the number of self checkouts. Fresh fruit and veg is always very tidy and reasonably appealing, as is flowers. Same issue with home products that there is always pallets and boxes of items dumped around so you end up tripping over stuff. Toilets are reasonable and the cafe is tidy and reasonably clean. No signs for customer service but apparently its moved to the kiosk although nobody trained in customer service at the kiosk so they have to ring for supervisors to come down. The far right hand side, down the side of the store towards Abbey Mill is always messy. Lots of rubbish, always flooding, uneven ground and towards the back there is lots of Graffiti.
My local store 5 minutes from the house but they never have anything I need. Shelves are always empty, be it fresh pizza, crisps, fruit or certain canned drinks they just don't have the stock. Went to the other store at Falside Road and they appear to have everything the Anchor Mills store doesn't. I have a feeling it's due to not giving staff the shifts to stock the shelves more than anything as was advised this by a checkout operator, I'm sure the stock is probably lying through the back waiting to be put out. Probably will just use Falside Road now. Disappointed as it's a lovely big store just get your shelves stocked!
