A good look. Love how the town Hall looks. Brightens up Paisley.
The town hall was the Exhibition Centre venue of Paisley from World Class Snooker to famous bands doing a small gig to our Comicon. It could and should be so much more so it's full 24/7 busy by attracting bands, comedians, TV shows, am dram and events. I would love something interesting going on there through the week every week from a local band battle to being similar to The Pavillion as local comedy talent from plays to gameshows. The plans look amazing but do you really believe it will get finished before your grandkids have grandkids?
Beautiful Town Hall building currently undergoing extensive refurb which I understand should be completed later in 2022. Great location with the White Cart Water running behind the building and Paisley Abbey and it's grounds at the front. Wonderful civic space.

It is presently closed to the public due to renovations. I do not know when it will re open to the public.

Part of Paisleys showpiece architectural town cente along with the the even more impressive Abbey which is situated just opposite. This building dates back to one of the golden ages for Paisley and theres been more than one, and its love affair with thread which created a surplus of wealth and the funds for iconic buildings like this.
Paisley is second only to Edinburgh for the number and range of it's listed buildings most of which are within easy walking distance of Paisley's fine Town Hall
Staff are friendly and knowledgable and cant do enough to help, the new investment into the building to renovate it has worked a treat on the outside, however some work has yet to be done in certain areas of the interior.. The new reception however is stunning, love it...
