Very convenient to change trains at this station when rail hopping for drinks; there is a glorious white and blue design here which is incorporated into the curved roof! Departure boards are featured throughout and location is accessible from the street, plenty of blue benches for waiting around too. Underground subway has artwork on the walls of the local area and this passage provides navigation between the platforms, which are appropriately sized for the trains and cleanliness could be improved somewhat as the ground was quite messy.
Many trains serve to/from Glasgow here. Other destinations include Largs, Gourock and maybe Ayr. Love the 380s that serve these routes.nnThere are ticket machines and a counter with staff for any help. Connects directly to the city center and good connection with buses nearby.nnNo ticket barriers here albeit ticket inspections by staff can be common.
Warm Welcome on Platform 3nnTucked confidently on Platform 3, this coffee shop is a hidden gem for morning commuters. With a great selection of reasonably priced options—like a tasty bacon roll for just £3 as of September 2025—it delivers both value and flavour. The coffee hits the spot, and the gentleman behind the counter greets you with a smile that sets the tone for the day. A perfect pit stop for breakfast on the go.
Gilmour Street, is very busy and there are many options about where I wish to journey on to. The Gilmour Street Train Station is located there as is various shops including the Piazza. Also the Last Post, a Wetherspoons Pub and there is A Paisley Historic Shop which gives information on Paisley and has Tours of Paisley and they are busy setting up a Radio Station for Paisley. The majority of my requirements I can usually purchase if not in Paisley then not too far from it.
