I'm having trouble finding fault with this place. I tried! The staff are so lovely. I've made friends! The only tiny fault, in the cafe we sometimes buy a bacon bag. But my husband asks to add a sausage to it. It's always tasty so we go back a lot. My issue is pricing. Sometimes it's 2.99 sometimes 3.50 and sometimes 4.99.n4.99 is too much. What is the actual price.?
Ordered small fish and chips expecting the usual frozen, cardboard fish, but was served fresh fish in beautiful bubbly batter, absolutely delicious. We were sooo surprised and delighted. Thank you.

Been in two Fridays running now to take advantage of the Friday fish offer, very little to choose from, no fishmonger on duty either. Butchers unhappy to help. Used to be a good store, sadly not now
Not fit for purpose as a supermarket. Just visited at 10am on a Thursday and they had no fish or meat counter stocked, the lights weren't even on! and no packs of beef, lamb, pork, cold meats etc on the shelves. Two blokes putting some stuff out but not good enough when you are there to stock up for a week. The wine aisle was depleted too. When I left at 1030 having not got most of the things I wanted due to lack of stock or insane prices, I noticed there was now ice on the fish counter but still no fish. This place used to be decent but has really gone downhill since lockdown. Also the car park is a badly designed nightmare.
