A good store that caters for pretty much all of the every day needs. Good quality throughout. The best large store on Canvey Island by a mile. Not the cheapest. Not the dearest. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking. 😎

Love it here good prices lovely food and great staff. New cafe lovely but to open. Needs to be higher screens so all that walk past don’t keep staring at you when you are eating. The only thing is the toilets are disgusting. They need to have a good revamp and kept clean!!

This shop is a total DISGRACE!!!!! I have been shopping here for several years now. Over the past 2 or 3 years it has gone down hill. The quality of the so called fresh fruit and veg is disgusting. You are lucky to get 1 day on the best before date. As for the level of stock, well there isn't any. They seem to be lacking in staff to fill the shelves. All you see is empty shelves, empty freezers. I've been in there and there's been no Granny Smith Apples, no bananas, no kale no tomatoes, no carrots, no celery, no cucumbers. No bleach, no loo rolls ( that I usually buy) only expensive ones and very few of those. No bread, no frozen veg to speak of, no frozen chicken, no frozen roast potatoes, no sanitary towels (that I usually use) no bubble bath ( that I usually use) no tinned tomatoes, no dog teeth cleaning chews. This is on 1 shopping trip alone. There were loads of every day buys NOT ON THE SHELVES. I have complained time after time after time, even to the Head honcho at head office and got fobbed off with tales of stock not being sent out or lorries not getting to the store. This has been going on for years now and over the past few months it has got much much worse, so it can only be due to BAD MANAGEMENT. I went in there 2 weeks ago and you would think the place was closing down. There were huge amounts of stock missing whole length of freezers empty. I asked staff about it and got told that management don't want to pay for staff to put the stock out!!!!! It is shocking that a shop of this size is so BADLY MISS MANAGED. I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM IN THERE BECAUSE IT IS MORE THAN EVIDENT THAT THE IDIOTS THEY HAVE THERE NOW COULDNT RUN A BOOZE UP IN A BREWERY. I WILL NEVER SHOP IN THERE AGAIN.

Very disappointed with the Canvey island store today. This is the third time I have been to do my weekly shop in the last four weeks and have come away to do my shopping in Tesco. This store needs to get some trolleys that fit on to a wheelchair , they always did have them but now have not got one in store .very bad . I am not the only person who has had this trouble.
