The staff are 1st class.nThis camping shop has everything you could have and more.nMost items are reasonable priced.nLove the awning section it’s the largest I’ve seen.nAlways take our friends who own a Motorhome as we always need like looking for something new.
It’s nice at 64 to feel like a kid in a sweet shop now and then and walking into camping and general does just that. I never come out of here with just what I went in for, love the place highly recommended. For example look at these two ‘ child’s’ rucksacks for a tenner each, how could you not want one!, they’re an essential now of mine and my wife’s walks together!.
I have memories of visiting Camping and General with my parents from 20 years ago when getting bits for their caravan. I visited recently and was amazed at how much stuff and variety they have in the store. The kids had a good look round the tent displays and gave me lots of hints to which ones they wanted me to buy them!nnGreat place to visit if looking for camping gear!!
I bought a tent in July and had a little problem with one of the air beams. The customer service was amazing and replaced it the same day. After sales is always an important thing and I can't fault it.
Everything you could possibly need for a camping trip is in here! I just got my first gas BBQ and the staff were very helpful and explained everything clearly. Will definitely go back for a refill when the time comes, or a tent if we need one!
