This shop vilified me and made me feel very like a criminal because I would sometimes go in not expecting to need a basket, but would in the end pick up too much, so would have to put some items in my rucksack in order to take them to the checkout, since there were no baskets once you went through the gates.nnI can now happily say that they must have caught on to this problem and now have baskets in the store to use for these circumstances. So very commendable of the shop.nnSecurity were very pleasant when I did deal with them, just some of the floor staff were a little less sympathetic and made me feel like a criminal.
Normal weekly visit. What I did notice was, they now have more staff on the tills. Which was something I commented on previously. Also well displayed fresh food counters, meat, fish etc.
Proper gone down hill... wont be shopping there again, street food area waste of space and mostly all shut down-out of the 6 or 7 options only 3 are available. Asked a member of staff why why non of its open and was told its been closed for over a year now, the reason for the toasted sandwich counter being closed is apparently a supply issue, bit shocking a super market cant source cheese and breed! This place is just a joke..the counter that sells sandwich meats is now shutting early so pointless calling in after work to grab a bit of shopping, no hot food counter for sausage rolls or stake Bakes like their other stores.
Thought their prices were improving especially when they state how they are price matching with Lidl and Aldi. Called in today for a few items. Had run out of gravy bones for our two dogs. Was horrified to see that the gravy bones were priced at £2.50.nAldi sell gravy bones for 95p and their box holds 500g and Morrisons 400g. That’s a difference of £1.55 with 100g less. A shocking difference in price.nAlso, I love Jam Shed wine. Morrisons are selling at £8.25p. Cheeky Aldi now do a Jammy Red. Tastes identical to Jam Shed and is only £5.99p.nMorrisons seriously need to review their prices if they wish to be competitive.
Well stocked with variety of products. Got some great chocates here for gifting purpose
