I waited well over 20 minutes for assistance in the alcohol aisle, which is locked and requires a staff member to unlock it. Despite pressing the assistance button six times, no one came to help, even after two members of staff walked past me. I then approached a nearby staff member to request help, only to be told, “I’m busy, you’ll have to find someone else.” This response was both unhelpful and dismissive.nnI approached a second staff member and politely asked for assistance. She replied that she could not serve me in that section and walked off while continuing her conversation with a colleague—again, with no attempt to help or redirect me to someone who could. At no point did any staff member apologise, offer to find someone available, or take even a moment to assist, despite the fact that unlocking the cabinet would have taken less than a minute.nnIronically, the second staff member eventually returned and assisted me herself—something she could have done from the start. The entire situation could have been easily avoided with a basic level of customer care and communication.nnBeyond the customer service issue, I was also concerned by the general state of the store. Navigating the aisles felt hazardous due to numerous cardboard boxes and trolleys left lying around, creating tripping hazards and contributing to a messy, disorganised environment.nnOverall, I found the experience extremely disappointing and not at all in line with the standards one should expect. I strongly recommend that staff receive refresher training in customer service and that store presentation and safety standards be reviewed. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects poorly on the management and overall brand.
Visited to use facilities and get food to go. Looked well stocked, easy to get through check out and food bought was good
Awful. No baskets, empty shelves , abandoned boxes in the aisles, fridges not working, dreadful music blasting out.Expect to wait at the self checkouts, there’s only a member of staff when they’re not busy elsewhere. The management of this place need to get a grip because it’s a shambles.
Visited on the evening of the 15th July 2025. The place has 'closing down, can't be arsed' feel about it. On at least two isles there were fairly large pools of water, near the back some lights were out adding to that closing down feeling. The milk fridges haven't been working for a while and the small display of milk at it's new location had no full fat and not much else so went to Aldi. The 'deli' had two people there but had an feeling of a morgue. I stood for a few minutes before I was noticed and then the slicing machine was either not clean or they didn't want to get it dirty I wasn't sure so I couldn't have any of the few hams in the run down display.nLots more people in Aldi, brighter store, Morrisons had the feel of a shop that's lost it's way and is closing down. :-
A really nice Morrison’s branch. It offers more than others, frozen seafood which I haven’t seen in UK. Roasted garlic & herb chicken tight fillet is tasty.
