Another Morrisons updated and modernised cafe. The cafe has been extended into the car park and extra floor space added . This was previously a very narrow cafe and access by wheelchair was a little difficult when squeezing past tables! However with an extension it has allowed for another row of tables and many more customers. All the redesigns now look the same all the way through the Morrisons chain . I still feel that the kitchen is a little small and the self service counter and the cash till are in different islands. This can cause problems for disabled people with trays of goodies and access to hot water etc . Now this to me is a safety risk . If you are in a wheelchair you can ask for help and the service has so far been pretty good to me . This cafe too allows you a view into the car park with its large windows. This is adjacent to the busy A 65 so is ok for people watchers. You have to select your table carefully if like me you have a wheelchair as only two tables allow me to slide my legs under without banging them . The cafe gets busy .My suggestion for wheelchair users is to use the table away from the windows and facing the shop itself . You will have more room to move and not block other customers There are disabled toilets close by . NB. The Barista Bar has an alcohol 🍺 license!!
