Asked for black coffee, got what was clearly instant coffee. All the food was microwaved. Could hear the microwave being used and the food was soggy like it had been microwaved. Even the bread for the soup was like that. A shame really because it looks so nice and quaint from the outside.

I never like leaving bad reviews, but I haven't felt more offended by the "cooked" food anywhere else on this planet. The moment I was served old bread, ran under the tap and microwaved, that is probably where I draw the line. Never mind the heavy smell of an unaired room, never mind the fact I could see into the dirty kitchen, never mind that there was complete and utter silence, and never mind that the coffee was instant coffee, despite the fact that the place is cute, the owner needs to seriously reconsider some things.Also please check the spelling of everything in that place, it's shameful.

Interior is really nice and cosy with a warm fire. Scones weren't to my taste and would have been better with clotted cream and jam.
