Morrisons Cafe

Stopped by for breakfast en route to Glasgow from Aberdeen. Good choice of breakfast items, lovely bread in the toast and the veggie option was good. Highlight was the lady serving, her name is Elaine according to her name badge. She was really friendly and helpful and enjoyed a banter with all her customers. You don’t see characters like her very often nowadays. A gem. Well done Morrisons. Vegetarian options: Good choice, sausages were great

Initially, I would give 5* to the staff. The one above is for the management. How can you leave one older lady literally running across the restaurant covering 30 tables alone? Of course the cutlery won't be absolutely clean or the food not great, but this is YOU, not the staff. And this is not a first time one person covering the entire restaurant. You could be plastic free, environmental friendly or whatever, but you are still dehumanising your staff.

Food was good but service initially was poor. Three staff having conversation while I was waiting to place order. Two minutes later, acknowledged and served.

Awful. Waited 40 mins for our breakfast to arrive and offered no compensation at all. The one star is because the food was OK.

The restaurant was quiet when we went in at 11.59 this morning 4 other tables we ordered avocado and egg on toast and a sausage bap. We waited 29 minutes and were on the point of leaving when food arrived - no avocado and two cold poached eggs on cold toast . When I said to the chap he took the plate away and came back minutes later with avocado half mashed with lumps in it. Left half the toast and avocado as we were driving south and couldn’t waste more time. My husband said his roll was edible. I complained at customer service desk and the very nice staff member refunded my breakfast . There is a serious problem here as the man at the next table was told there was “ no chips, fish or chicken. Just shocking !!! Reading past reviews this is. It a new thing or a one off. Worst Morrisons cafe I’ve visited .

Shocking really! Food was horrible... chips cold, burger burnt on the outside and cold and undercooked on the inside! The kitchen staff need some guidance obviously! I mean it's a veggie burger and chips it's not difficult

Walked in went to grab a tray all meant to be washed all disgusting eventually got the till where we grabbed our coffee cups evtually managed to find a clean one Placed our order and went to grab coffee the whole coffee station was disgusting had to wipe things clean before touching it Went to grab some cutlery and all of it had food on it no salt no sugar no sauces no napkins had to ask several times for some clean cutlery. Went to try and find a table that had no used plates on it clean your own table love it Food eventually came and it was wrong asked for 2 full breakfast and they both came with different things on the plate This place honestly does not care won’t be going back. Hard to word the disgust to be honest but I would not recommend 2 starts for the food and staff

Walking in the cafe seem a bit choatic due to three ways of ordering and paying for food. No salt or sauce available. Cup and cultery weren't clean and noone around to ask for clean forks. Given meat sausages instead of meat free and cold food for the most part. Will not be returning.

Had fish and chips, menu advertised with mushy peas, no mushy peas on plate when served. The waitress offered garden peas because the mushy peas had to be defrosted. Fish batter was swimming in grease, so did not eat the batter. Disappointed.

Terrible waited 45 mins for food, tables were dirty and dishes left on table, young girl doing all the work, spoke to the manager who was hopeless. No sanitising tables. Had run out of most food on menu and no ketchup, how thus can happen when this is a super market I will never know. Utterly disgraceful. Bad Management.
