Only had full breakfasts here. The one we had today, the food was really good, as was the toast with Lurpak. Would have given it 5 stars, but it's only adequate on cleanlinessFood: 5/5
Waited for over 25 minutes at an empty till as 7 new customers were given priority after ordering on the machine. Asked if I was in the right queue or where I could get served only to be told by the girl on the coffee counter "you need to pay before I can serve you?!?" Obviously, that's my issue, nobody is here to take my order?? Miss pleasant then said "if you've got a problem I can get the manager" Jesus! I just want to place an order and im paying cash so i cant use the machine? Despite waiting the best part of half an hour I was still completely reasonable, had she just said "sorry about the wait, I'll be with you in a second" I'd have been totally fine. Seems like when staff nowadays are under 25 they consider any criticism or question as a potential physical attack and respond like an assault victim. I like the breakfasts here and visit one a week but I'll be going elsewhere from now on.
Stupidly thought I'd try something other then the breakfast. Got the half a chicken it tasted like it had been microwaved countless time as was that dry I couldn't finish it. Shouldn't expect much from a morrisons cafe but thought it would have atleast been edibleFood: 1/5
Good budget friendly cafe. Had a breakfast on the half price offer which was beyond a bargain. Decent enough for the money. Ordered via the new at table online service. Worked flawlessly. Simply walk in, sit at a table, order online and pay online and they bring it out. Cafe has had a refurb and lots and lots of seating as it's a big cafe. Fine dining it is not. However for a decent quality meal at bargain prices you really cannot grumble. Will return.
Cafe could do with a good clean. But food was nice had some taste this time.
Only wanted a coffee and to treat grandchild to coke and cake. Took ages to get coffee, very slow. Not great coffee. Staff not friendly, more concerned about break times than anything else. Alot of tables not cleared.Service: 1/5
I’ve been to a lot of cafes and I’ve got to say this is the best one I’ve ever been to, the staff are so lovely and polite it’s just a shame that other customers are so disrespectful towards them when they don’t have enough staff and are trying there best to run the place as best as they can. The breakfast was brilliant 10/10. I suffer with anxiety and I find every place I’ve been to i feel so anxious and enclosed with all the tables but the layout in the cafe is perfect I’ve never felt more comfortable.
Worst place ever always loads out of stock Ivor drinks machine broken but let’s you pay on self pay before telling you. If you have to go till then expect delay as one staff doing tea and coffee and till. A supermarket cafe but no coleslaw. Breakfast but no tomatoes: how can they run low on basic things. Staff are miserable one looks like she defo needs a Wash and the floor was dirty even though not many in. Forgot two items of my breakfast told one not available and other beans were brought by an un friendly staff member. Sausages had been left all day then reheated by the looks of it
ordered on self pay screen, was told to help myself to drinks and sandwich ordered, which is fine but the sandwich was out of stock and when i asked about it was told they had no bread. fair enough if stuff is sold out but they clearly had bread because they made my toastie just fine and why let us order and pay for it if it's out of stock? also the drinks we ordered were not available and when we asked about these were told that they've never even heard of the drink we've ordered and apparently the system "just likes to put random stuff on" that they "dont even sell" which its just a straight lie im sorry. awful experience. ended up getting a drink that wasn't even the same price and no refund and sandwiches out of the meal deal section instead of the fresh we ordered.
Got to say this cafe is a bit of a disappointment if I'm honest and has really dropped the ball recently. The service is consistently poor with a general lack of interest or a welcoming feeling plus the whole place is grubby and needs a proper clean check out the dirty "clean" cutlery and how can half the breakfast menu be consistently unavailable on a morning? I know that there is a problem with staffing levels, which is unfair on the staff who struggle along, and it seems like Morrisons management aren't bothered by customer service anymore. I'm sure they won't even be bothered enough to read or respond to customer feedback The Sainsbury's cafe up the road is miles better for both service and quality
