The best Italian deli in London. Try the basil pesto, fresh ciabatta, olives, tomatoes, pasta and especially the Tiramisu, the best I’ve had outside of Italy. Hidden gem but worth hunting down.
wonderful family owned business offering great food cooked and fresh produce - the lasagna is to die for they always have a great range of products of the highest quality.
Having worked in a gourmet deli in Australia and having a particular taste for the fare on offer, it was lovely to stumble, by complete accident, across Monte’s Delicatessen down a quiet little street in Angel. Sliced meat thicknesses have been perfect and harken to a steady and well practiced hand. If you’re looking for charcuterie to entertain, speciality Italian ice creams, antipasto, hand made pasta, or wine you’d do yourself a mischief not to give this now the staple for me & my friends wonderful little deli a peruse.
By far London’s best italian Deli. Great personable service- they make Islington feel like a a proper Little Nieghborhood- love this place. Amazing array of high quality goods.

The aubergine is sublime, it was meant for a dinner and it was gone by lunch. Peppers etc. lovely too; it's not cheap or expensive, just worth it. The general quality of the goods in the store ia great, and some of the boxed goods/snacks from other suppliers are lovely now and a fixture of our cupboards looking at you, raspberry biscuits.
Beautiful little local Italian specialty deli. Great charcuterie, olives, hand made pasta, and some hard to find items. The store is packed to the rafters there are really no rafters there. Oh ... Nice helpful staff If your near you should drop in
