Great garden centre with loads of choice of plants and sections including birds and insects. So much more than a garden centre. Highly recommended.
Went to eat in the café/restaurant and the service was a big letdown. A change in operation has been made where you now have to queue at a till to place an order and then sit to wait for the the food and drink to be delivered. Only one till was open and it was super slow with a long queue of customers waiting. The 'pork with apple sauce' baps arrived without any apple sauce. The chips and a tuna sandwich arrived after a 5 minute wait, rather than everything being delivered together. Definitely not eager to make a return visit!
What a brilliant place!, had heard about it. But never been before. Amazed by the scale of the place, and the variety of plants available. Had a really good mooch about and will definitely be going back shortly. Great coffee and cake in the small cafe by the pond.
The garden centre has good selection of plants and brilliant Christmas displays and gifts. I do feel what let's it down is the restaurant. We went for Sunday lunch, none of our food looked or tasted fresh made. Might be that they only cook so much then use pre-made stuff after that. Very over priced for what we received. We won't be going back for food
Very nice place to go to and not only for plant. You can also get food, coffee or tea. They selling food wine cider. And of course plenty plants for inside and garden and anything else you need for your garden.
The roast dinners were really nice, tender meat, fresh veg etc. However, the portion size v cost was a little bit expensive. The queue was huge to order & pay and with only 1 till open, this took at least 20mins. The table service wasn't too long to wait for our drinks then meals to arrive. The garden centre has various displays for indoor outdoor items but very expensive. Lovely pet shop.
Great place, lots to look at, a choice of 2 places to eat or get a coffee. dogs allowed in most areas but not all. Has a kids play area so it's quite suited to everyone. Lots of lovely things to buy but a lot of it on the more expensive side. Worth a visit.
You could happily spend a whole day here: lots of beautiful things, well laid out. Everything from garden furniture to greeting cards. Good choice of food stuffs in the delicassen fresh and frozen along with gluten free options too. Extensive range of outdoor/solar lighting and great displays of seasonal decorations. Wonderful displays of plants and shrubs together with loads of pots, with attractive ideas for planting. The pets section has lots of feed options, for all kinds of pets. There's also birds and little animals to see! Cafe is also very good, either just for coffee and cake, or something more sustaining!
Hi, arrived at 9.15am to have breakfast with our friends. Although we ordered straight after our friends our food came out much later. It was on cold plates and was Luke warm. My husband did not receive any eggs so I had to go and ask for them which was brought over one st a time. Very disappointing. We have had breakfast before which was lovely so we do not understand what happened today.
Gardening side of things very good but very slow service in the cafe despite not being busy and lots of staff. No recognition of delay when arrived. We ordered cake and a scone so no timely cooking required.
