Great service and very well stocked for a local pet shop

I have been to a variety of pets around the area and this one is definitely not one that I want to go again 
I did not feel welcomed and not even being acknowledged 
I asked a few questions 
They were not attentive or helpful 
Was clean overall and nicely presented

I have always used this pet store and have never had a bad word to say about it. Untill now. I think its a bit unreasonable when the last three days its been closing well before the closing times stated online and at the store. I live in walton now and can only get there after . First of all we got there at 4.55 on monday then tried again on Tuesday at same time then got there wednesday at 4.15 to find out they had closed at 4.. My rabbit and my dragons had to go with out certain bits for a day as i couldnt get what i needed! Gave up today and reluctantly went to pets at home in walton...

A proper pet shop

Staff seemed friendly when they were selling you a pet to own, however 3 weeks later the hamster we bought fell ill. 

When we called the shop for advise prior to going to the vets it was apparent they were more bothered about covering there business ethics, advising us that no other hamsters have had any health and raved about how good there suppler is etc.

Really what we wanted to hear when looking at a distressed hamster.....!

Sounds like a they have rehearsed for these sorts of calls, as they clearly didn't care about the animal they sold.

Unfortunately the hamster didn't make it. 

We won't be using this independent shop in future as it makes more sense to shop at Pets at home, at least they can provide a good quality service and show respect to their clients who pay money to fund the shops livelihood.

1 star service, 1 start company shouldn't be trading.
