Simply the worst customer experience I have ever had. Moda took the full amount straight away and after the initial 4 weeks delivery time, delayed the order on 3 more occasions, totaling 3 months of delays. They never informed me of the status of the order at any point, even weeks past the expected delivery date, but relied on me chasing them for updates. At one point a specific date and time for delivery was confirmed, but after waiting in all day for the delivery, they simply never turned up. After numerous more phone calls to them, the Customer Services Manager personally handled my order and gave me a final date for delivery. The day before this date I was told that the goods were not ready and there would be a further delay. I cut my losses of going for the best part of the summer without the furniture at this point and got a full refund. Their customer service department are helpful and friendly but simply never deliver on any of their numerous promises. I even had to keep them on the phone to ensure they processed my refund correctly. I offered to share my experience with the Managing Director so this wouldn't happen to anyone else but guess what, I never heard anything back. Looking at the other reviews it seems like I'm not the only one who has had this experience with Moda so I can only advise not to risk ordering anything with this company.
We bought a sofa/dining corner furniture set from the store just over four years ago. We recently found that some of the rattan weave on a couple of the modules had broken. We contacted the customer service team who responded incredibly quickly to our email. Within a week Moda had agreed to replace the affected modules under its 7yr guarantee, and had arranged for these to be delivered and the damaged items taken away. Excellent aftersales care. Many thanks.
Me and my family have used Moda furnishings twice up to yet and on both occasions we've found them to be so easy to work with in terms of what we want, ordering the right stuff for our homes. The team at Moda were fantastic and the service was quick and stress free considering what we ordered. The quality of the furniture is first class and I'd recommend them to anyone on the look for any kind of furniture. Five star service from start to finish.
I've bought some lovely garden furniture online on June 3th. Hoping to quickly enjoy it, I clicked on the button "BUY" as soon as I saw 'Delivered in a week'. First deception when I received an email the next day saying it will take 3 weeks because of a lack of stock. You may say "okay, that's life!". But I finally waited 6 WEEKS... to receive damaged furniture Worse, no phone number visible to join the support team. Just an email and no answer to the emails during 6 days. I'm still struggling right now. I had to call the main phone number and reach out another team to hear them say that their email management system was bad and that as I've sent several emails, they couldn't understand where they were in the process of helping us. I can answer to that. NOWHERE!! And this outrageous to hear. As if it was my fault if they can't manage emails. If you can't do that, don't sell online. I now have to wait as far as 72 hours to receive a call for a new delivery date which should have been done last week without me having to chase them. Waste of time and very poor customer service. A real pain in the backside. I'm also waiting information to have a complaint notified but I don't know if it will ever happen... It's a shame as we love the furniture, at least those which are not damaged! But we'll never buy again from them.
Bought a fire pit table and chairs - very nice. The gas didn't stay on though - I called and Robin and she sent a replacement valve next day which I fitted in minutes and now it's sorted. We'll resolved guys - impressed.
i visited Moda at the beginning of October and after a couple of months searching around for an ARC outdoor set i knew i had to purchase it from Moda; top quality customer service made for a really enjoyable experience. I've had my set now for a month and my partner and i couldn't be happier with the quality of the products. i am very proud of having people round my house every weekend because i know i always receive compliments on the furniture. since then we've been back to buy a hallway mirror and a new lamp! big recommendations from me thank you Moda!
This company is a complete joke. Spent over £2500 with them on a garden furniture set and the cushions they provided all faded and changed colour. They admitted they should have been coated which was missed. I was promised the cushions would be change and all they sent me was half the cushion covers and not the complete cushions as discussed. Its December now and I STILL haven't got what I paid for! And to top the lot they are saying I cant have a refund as it's been too long. I suggest everyone who has problems with this cowboy company go trading standards and the small claims court if all else fails.
My furniture arrived today and I couldn’t be happier. From start to finish the service has been second to none. As for the furniture it looks great and is unbelievably comfortable. I would highly recommend moda to all my friends an colleagues. I am over the moon can’t wait for the summer now!
We ordered our WINDSOR 7 - Rattan 6 Seat Sofa & Dining Set in April 2015, order 100000947 together with an extra set of cushion covers. The delivery came in dribs and drabs after being chased - don't believe the website - Delivery is guaranteed within five days on a pre booked date, subject to stock availability. However if for any reason you require it sooner, then this can be arranged, please talk with our sales staff. In the very unlikely event that your item is out of stock, we can usually ship within a 14 day period. It is now September - some 6 months later and we are still waiting for the extra set of cushion covers. We have had excuse after excuse, the latest being we are moving warehouses. UPDATE: 21st September 2015. Last week, after chasing them again, we were told that our missing cushion covers were in stock and that they would like to offer us 2 pairs of scatter cushions as compensation for the wait. Was that OK? Yes please post them by return . . . nothing came. Today an email . . sorry we've not got the covers in the colour you wanted remember ordered in April, but we can offer you a different colour, or give you a refund. I've asked for a refund, but looking at other reviews it may take a while. Do Not Buy from them!!!!!!
OMG This shop is amazing lovely furniture and pictures are fantastic. Me and my fiancee bought four pink chairs with a knocker on the back got 15% off too if we had more money we would have bought more stuff.We will be going back for sure.
