What a beautiful little coffee shop. I had the best pecan pie with a perfect cappuccino. Pleasant staff too. However, the brownie was very rich, maybe too rich? I was also surprised to see an automatically applied service charge. Feels quite guilt trippy.
I’ve been coming here for years, mainly Saturday mornings when our daughter is at dance lessons so lots of time to kill. The coffee and bacon rolls are great, but service can be quite mixed. Often left sitting for ages without the option to order more coffee etc. even when staff are quiet. Today was the last straw when people who came in after me were served first so I had to leave. It wasn’t particularly busy and easy to serve people in order. I won’t be back. The service in the St Andrews branch is consistently good and I’ll still go there for coffee during the week.
Super busy when we visited on Boxing Day, but we were well looked after with a free coffee each as we waited on our delicious food. The churros brioche toast and salmon avocado toast were well worth the waitFood: 5/5
Had lunch and cake/coffee at this large, busy cafe in Broughty ferry. Staff were lovely and it had great furnishings. The food was tasty. I had toasted sandwich with vegetable crisps which was delicious, and then bakewell slice and coffee! A very satisfying afternoon. It’s connected to its sister restaurant in one large complex, and the whole place is great.
Fabulous cafe! Had a reuben sandwich with soup combo which was delicious and reasonably priced. Very trendy decor and excellent service. There appears to be a restaurant at the back which i will have to come back and try.
Glorious food in am exciting place. Most memorable thank you!Food: 5/5
Not bad, but improvements can be made. The cakes are dry and not the best. Nice coffee although some small meals are served too. The space is a little tight, so perhaps the focus should be on serving good coffee and cake instead?
Came in around 11.15am for a brunch - Veggie fry up/forgans fry up. Ended up waiting around 40/50 minutes for the food. We were offered coffee on the house. We accepted however also asked for a glass of water which never arrived. When we received our food after the long wait there was several things missing from our plate including veggie sausages what was on the plate was cut up bubble and squeak, toast, black pudding and haggis. The remainder of the food given had been sitting under a hot lamp causing the food to be dry and hard to enjoy. No one came to check on us or how our food was. When we paid, the server didn't ask how the meal was, just said the price and waiting for payment. It cost £27.40. Very disappointed with service and food especially after reading the reviews.
Delicious hot chocolate, cakes and slices, friendly service and clean well decorated cafe
Had breakfast and then another cuppa with a scone and jam. Went with my daughter and granddaughter who's 7 months. Staff were friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Fab food and great service. Definitely recommend.
