After walking 20 mins in the rain and finding the restaurant we originally wanted to go to had closed their kitchen, we didn't hold much hope for this restaurant we stumbled across. However, we were most pleasantly surprised! Great service, very attentive waiter who advised us that we could take advantage of an offer as it works out to be a better deal.. He also offered to bring us an off the menu lamb dish as we were unsure on what to order. Absolutely delicious- best mains we've had at an Indian restaurant. Only took pics of the starter as we were too busy enjoying our food! Thank you!
Went lastnight on a night away in York. Food and service were brilliant. Highly reccomend this restaurant! BEST naan we've ever had and loved the Paneer choices. You can take your own drink too. 5Food: 5/5
Fantastic take out. Very tasty food, fresh ingredients, tender lamb, good portion size. Best naan I've had in York. Delivered promptly on a busy night by a friendly driver. Will be ordering again soon.
A fantastic Indian restaurant serving quality food. No drinks licence but you canntake your own, they also serve soft drinks. Friendly and helpful staff so just ask. Definitely worth a visit or a takeaway.Food: 5/5
Service was prompt, staff friendly and the main food items very good. Marked down slightly because we felt that the rice and Peshawar nan were a bit bland compared to our usual at home in Glasgow; but that could just be a regional difference. Would definitely use again when we come back .Food: 4/5
Went here for their buffet night. The food was delicious, and bring your own booze is an absolute winner! Staff were lovely and friendly. Will absolutely eat here again, amazing value for money.Food: 5/5

Really one of the best places I've eaten at in York. Everything tasted so fresh, we took our own wine, they supplied the glasses, I would recommend trying here for food.Food: 5/5
Very pleasant atmosphere, the staff were attentive and the menu varied. The food was good and good value. You can take your own alcohol and they don't charge corkage.
Our new go to Indian! Have at least one take away a month from here, perfection every time, tasty & always comes hot! Caters for halal eaters too which is a bonus!
