Story

Mirash Tandoori has been providing high quality Indian food to East Dulwich and the surrounding area since 1990. We pride ourselves on providing freshly cooked delicious food at a very reasonable price. Each dish is cooked from fresh ingredients by highly trained chefs. Whether dining in or having a take away, our emphasis is on providing good service and customer satisfaction.

This owner-managed local restaurant has a superb menu offering local dishes from the Indian sub-continent. The menu includes a selection of Balti, Handi, Tandoori and curry dishes to suit every palate. Eat as much as you like from the well-chosen Sunday Buffet selection.

Food was good, but it took about 45 minutes for the food to come out multiple take away orders came out in this time the servers were alright, but did they did opt to take a phone call mid order. I was given a dirty plate and a recently used glass although both were replaced everything felt like it took more time then it should to do. Atmosphere was alright.
Had a table for 18 people, we were sat downstairs in our own room. Food was delicious & reasonably priced. Staff were all super friendly & amazing service. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to going back!Food: 5/5
I haven't been to Mirash for quite a long time not because I don't like it but simply because I tend to be in Surrey a lot on weekends I went there recently though and it was even better than I remembered it. The Sunday Buffet was delicious and really tasty and very good value too. The staff were very welcoming and nice as well. As has been described by another reviewer the owner is a lovely man too. That's why people keep coming back. The food is delicious and the staff and the owner look after their customers. They deserve to do well. The Kingfisher beer is a nice lager and my wife enjoys the house red wine too.
We loved the food here, the restaurant staff are very friendly and it is good value for money. We got a table without having to wait and the service was great! Just what you want for an Indian night out
Amazing food! The delicious lamb curry I tasted here with the rice is quite possibly one of the best I have tasted. A truly superb meal I had with my family.

Went with a friend for the Sunday Buffet. The food was of excellent quality. Johnnie the head waiter was also excellent! The food was all freshly cooked, good quality and had little oil. I was extremely impressed and would thoroughly recommend. My favourite was the tandoori chicken pieces. Wrap them in nan bread with some of the onion, tomato salad with a touch of mint sauce !!! Kid-friendliness: Johnnie was very good when one families little boy was having a tantrum when being put into the high chair.
We were so disappointed with our evening at Mirash last week. My family has used this restaurant for many years. As soon as my husband and I stepped in, it felt open and cold. All the quirky booths with their quirky etched glass gone. The staff were friendly and helpful. One changed my chair when I noticed it covered in stains! Our food was mediocre, nothing great, and it certainly could have been warmer. Overall, I doubt we'll be using this eatery again. What a shame!!
