Doesn’t want to give 1 star as there is no option for 0. I got van hire and return within 2 hours only and as written on slip returned with quarter tank but they have deducted my £24 from deposit. I have only drove 20 Miles but these cheeky people deduct £24 don’t know what diesel they used. Not going to recommend this to anyone or neither going to use it in future.

I am a loyal customer with Minster Self Drive now after several years. The staff make it easy to change dates which is a nightmare with other companies. Lisa & Zoe go above & beyond to help in every way:  organising taxis and offering car drop offs ! The cars are always immaculate and reliable and the prices are very reasonable. It’s not far from Middlesbrough Railway station. Highly recommend

I hired with the Lisa and the team at minster. The van was really well looked after and new. They explained everything I needed to do when I returned the van. Very cheap too ! Will definitely use minster again

Been using Minster's Middlesbrough branch for a number of years for van hire and found them to be very efficient and the price, competitive. Staff are always friendly.

Had a great experience. Booked the van online after signing up to an online form hassle free with immediate confirmation. On arrival have been greeted by great staff who were kind, had great banter and explained everything. Have been to a few hire places before and honestly this is the easiest and stress free place I've ever been to. Apologized about van not being washed, but who cares about a work horse not being washed? Had 2000 miles on the clock has been tip top. Return was hassle free. I was offered extra cover, but never pestered about it. Exactly what you want from a hire place. I won't be going anywhere else to hire a van again. Thank you.

Lisa and Zoe were a godsend. I am in the process of selling a house in NZ, other big companies were not interested in hiring because of no permanent abode. I needed a car to help set up a new life again in UK. With their help I have a car and rental now and the pricing was so much cheaper than the big companies. Brilliant service and support. Visiting the UK and needed a car sorted on short notice. Not only did Lisa try her best to get us sorted with what we wanted, she has secured a  returning customer for every time I travel back to the UK.  Service felt personal and easy, much better than other national rental companies I have used in the past.  100% reccomend.
