We recently suffered a family bereavement and sadly on the advice of a care home in Welshpool i was directed to a Welshpool undertakers which was a terribly distressing experience , The next day i made contact with Frank Painter's and what a absolute pleasure from the secretary to everyone i made contact  with i was treated with dignity and compassion. Alan Painter became my appointed director and what a  professional who guided me and explain what we needed to do next and who to contact . Alan and the team were not surprised with my requests,  this was a funeral with a difference and nothing to Alan  was to much trouble, this was the  last thing i could give my beautiful mother. I have to say Alan and the team  exceeded my expectations and i will be forever greatful . Thank you Alan you have become a true friend

What a class act of a company.  You can tell they are proud to be a longstanding family business. Just the right amount of professional and friendly, every staff member we spoke to was kind, helpful and compassionate. Alan Painter was our in charge of our mum's funeral, he was knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble, communication was excellent, as were the choices and options. An immaculately presented premises and I felt my mum was truly looked after. Couldn't ask for more

My family would like to wholeheartedly thank Ben for his supportive, sympathetic and efficient handling of the funeral arrangements for my wife.  As a result of his efforts, everything ran like clockwork, both before and on the day.  In our dealings with him, he made us feel that nothing was too much trouble.  And on the day, he made us feel that we were his only priority.  We would have no reservations in recommending Painters.

Excellent services. As a family, we found Ben to be excellent in every aspect of our dealing with him. He is young, enthusiastic and yet always adopts a perfect tone. He worked very hard to provide an excellent service to the family and considered all needs. He liaised with the vicar and dealt with all administrative tasks without any inconvenience to us. Throughout he wanted to ensure that our mother had a fitting funeral. We consider Ben to be an asset to your organization. Well done, Ben. For a young man, you have a maturity and empathy which are admirable qualities in your profession. Thank you, Ben, and we would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone.

Many thanks to all of the Staff but a special big thank you to David, our funeral director. David has been amazing and has helped us every step of the way. His kindness and his genuine care and thoughtfulness have been outstanding.  Frank Painter are an excellent quality, family firm and one I would highly recommend.

The kindness , care and professionalism shown to me and my family was truly amazing. My mum sadly passed away in December and the emotional process of arranging the funeral was dealt with in a thoughtful and caring way led by Chris and his team. Nothing is too much trouble , nothing is forgotten or made awkward. I can only sincerely thank them for all they did to give mum a dignified send off.

It seems odd to write a review for a funeral directors, however this is just a small way in which my family and I can show our complete appreciation for Chris and his team. After the death of my mother, my sister and I had no idea what to do, what was needed and what we had to organise. Chris was amazing and helped us every step of the way. He made an awful situation as easy as it could have been, guiding us every step of the way. Everyone you deal with at Frank Painters & Sons has the most caring and sincere manner and we can not thank them enough!

I  recently used Frank Painter & Sons for my dad's funeral and I can not recommend them highly enough. I had never organised a funeral before and from the very first phone call Mike guided us through every last detail and enabled us to have a beautiful service which truly reflected my dad's life. Their staff are empathetic, polite, professional and efficient at all times and nothing is too much trouble. Other services recommended by them, such the celebrant Clare Maceachen, Francesca for orders of service and Fleurtations for flowers were also excellent. On a practical note the final bill we received was clear and itemised and it reflected exactly what had been quoted initially. Losing a loved one is unbearable but having Frank Painter & Sons by your side enables you to make the final goodbye a beautiful occasion and I am so glad we chose them.

If you want THE VERY BEST you should choose this Funeral Directors.  Alan Painter and his colleagues were wonderful.  I am extremely fussy but nothing was too much trouble.  They obviously value their family reputation and provide excellent value for money.  Their sensitivity and genuine care helped us to have the most beautiful funeral service for my Mum, everything was PERFECT.   Many, many thanks.
