Story

Here at MINISTRY OF FOOD we are all immensely passionate about food.

Fresh, fragrant food that stands out in a crowd. Whether its an intimate dinner for 10, a Wedding for 150 or as the sole fast food caterer serving 20,000 people at The Chalk Valley History Festival, our passion remains the same........ Freshly picked, freshly cooked, fabulous food served with artistic flair and flavours in abundance. We provide quintessentially English county food, with a respectful nod to the seasons, combining really fresh ingredients from carefully selected local suppliers and whenever possible, from our own Kitchen Garden.


MINISTRY OF FOOD is the brainchild of events based mother and daughter team. Drawing on years of experience and a wealth of creative talent we combine a formidable team of chefs, serving staff and mixologists to cater for almost every event possible.

Most recently contracted by English Heritage as sole caterer at various venues across the country for their re-enactment Events, from A St Georges Day Celebration at Wrest Park to
A Viking invasion at Old Sarum Castle, our extremely high standards remain consistent and we are now returning for forth year! Our high standards are illustrated in our five star health and hygiene rating.

For our Re-enactment Events and Festivals we love combining our 'Forties’ style with a contemporary twist and our Land Army Girls (and Boys!) are stoically bringing great food to Great Britain!
