Me and some friends had arranged to eat at the blue ginger with a lot of anticipation as we had enjoyed our meal here a few years before. Upon arriving, despite being one of the few people there we were sat in the corner of the restaurant. No music was playing and the atmosphere was very awkward. The waiters seemed very keen to clear our plates and we all felt as though we were being rushed. Added to which, we were told that the Ostrich curry, one of the main reasons we had gone, was off the menu, despite being advertised online, and we were told the cocktail menu wasn't available to us. I'm not sure why this last part was unavailable, as we were given no explanation. It was a very disappointing night and very expensive. Not going to bother with it again.

Literally my favorite Indian restaurant in the world. The Lamb Vindaloo is simply perfect. Great flavor, very tender, with just the right amount of kick to make me happy. Meat Samosa could be a meal on it's own, it's that delicious. So tasty. Naan so fresh, so light, so delicious. Garlic or cheese, both are excellent. If you're in the area, this place is well worth a visit. You'll thank me later.

I regularly visit Whitchurch and dine at this restaurant with my family. Good if you book a table for 4 but on my last 3 visits I have looked to dine alone and the Manager has refused to book a table for me! Even called in person at 6pm recently as soon as restaurant opened, waiter took me to a table and even though restaurant was empty the manager refused me a table! Happy to take my booking when I take my family but when dining alone it seems I'm not welcome! I wonder why this is? It seems single diners are not welcome at all his restaurant!

Been to Blue Ginger many times since discovering it last year. Staff are friendly and the food never disappoints. It's our go-to curry house.
