The shop itself is very tidy and minimalist which is especially useful if it’s a bit busy. The staff were friendly and was able to get quick service. The food itself was slightly disappointing. We sampled four different treats including the mochi and biscuits. The vanilla biscuit was the best. The price is very expensive for what it is, but it’s understandable given the central location.
Great food from Japan, beautiful decorated shop and a wide variety of desserts to choose. Staff wasn’t that nice nor attentive, we experienced a rather disencouraging time there since we had to actively search and ask for the staff guidance, and even though the store was empty we were the only customers, and the staff were two. They wouldn’t come to us or ask if we need anything. We had to ask several time and go to them because they wouldn’t move and just answer short and unfriendly. Definitely would set more customer focus and friendlier staff, otherwise great store. Beautiful, organized, clean and beautiful, amazing and delicious products.
This is a beautiful Japanese sweets and confectionery shop based in Piccadilly. Everything is very authentic, the staff are really helpful, and they have an extensive choice of confectionery. The shop is worth a visit to just enjoy the displays.Food: 5/5
Mocking me in another language as a customer in another language for asking if a product is vegan due to my girlfriend's diary condition. Quite rude, never coming again. Also, i bought a mochi and i must say 4£ for such a thing not worth my money independently how fancy the store looks
This is a fantastic store for Japanese confectionery with a good selection of delicious treats to choose from. Service was impeccable and very attentive, I felt like the shop assistant carefully tended to my needs and packed the 2 pouches beautifully.Food: 5/5
Bit of an expensive treat to self, but absolutely loved the matcha cookie. So moreish. Wish I got more now. The mochi was ok, different. The shop was very cute. Service was good, assistants were keen to help and very friendly. Going online to order more cookies now
Sweet tooth? The Japanese wagashi in this store is amazingly delicious with ever courteous staff. Pricey but you get quality confections. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
A cute little store that sells authentic Japanese teas and fantastic tasting sweets. The place has a museum-like vibe with information about their products, including interesting cultural notes, being clearly displayed. The cashier was also very helpful to point out that the sweets I had bought had a short shelf-life.Food: 5/5
Charming place. Sweets and snacks are tastefully arranged along the counters, with brief information about each. All along a dreamy music plays, making the whole experience of picking sweets special. Pleasant staff. We hope to come back next time we visit London.Food: 5/5
This place looked so promising and I was eager to try their amazing looking mochi and other beautiful Japanese treats; however, I was not welcomed to sit down inside. I was told the table is for customers only although I asked another staff before I sat down whether we can eat in. Disappointing experience.Service: 1/5
