About

Producers & purveyors of award-winning luxury Italian gelato! 'Serving Happiness' Soho|Bayswater|SouthKen|Marble Arch @SnowflakeGelato

"Founders, Asad and Gelato chef Paolo, had a dream: to create superb, fresh, delicious gelato for all to enjoy – handmade with love from the world’s finest ingredients. In 2012 that dream came true with Snowflake Luxury Gelato. A snowflake is a pure, intricate ice crystal – no two are the same. We make all our gelato by hand in the traditional Italian way, so each one is naturally unique, just like snowflakes, and your tastebuds. Our creamy organic Jersey milk comes from a family farm in Somerset, whilst our nuts grow in the Italian mountainsides. The raspberries and strawberries in our award-winning sorbetto are picked by hand in the garden of England – Kent."

I did 3 visits to Snowflake Ice Cream shop on my 5 day stop in London. Why I give only 4 stars at places that I had great service and very good ice cream VERY GOOD two times. Because on the afternoon of 06.01, I had a very bad service and it was sad to experience that in a great place like this one is. Also it was the same girl that took my sons hot chocolate two days before throw it a way as we where looking at what it have. This time she said that I need to have a big box under 3 different flavours. It was recommended by the staff at the first visit and I had that the second time and tonight I just walked out. I tried to tell her this but I was not going to have an argument over ice cream.
Visited today and had a cup of Milk Chocolate gelato and Lime/Mint Sorbet. The chocolate gelato was lovely but unfortunately the lime sorbet was icy and had two pieces of ice in it as well as smaller ice crystals. Just wouldn’t expect this at a quality gelato place. Hopefully a one-off as really liked the look of the other flavours and would like to return when I’m next in London. The seating area is very nice and was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We love this dessert place! We come here every month as we know it will be open till late and the desserts are always good! My favourite is the brownie! The gelato is always delicious too!
First of all, The queue for the gelato will tell you how popular they are. But surprisingly, even under lots of pressure and stress , these guys are well organised and deliver customer service with full smile and vibe. Great team out there. Very friendly and helpful staffs. No words to describe the quality of the products, worth trying if you are near by. Pistachio, Ferrero, praline , bueno, and hazelnut gelato were incredible, They so flavourful and don’t forget to try the dark chocolate. Will definitely visit again and would recommend to everyone.
If you are looking for some tasty desert ice-cream then this is one of the places to try out around central. Great array of flavours to choose from and you'll be spoilt for choice!
Amazing treats and great customer service. Visited on a Sunday afternoon, shop was very busy but we received our orders promptly. The servers were all very polite and organised. Definitely worth a visit. We'll be back.
Picture the scene. It's 10.30pm on a Saturday night in September 2021. Me - a sober person - has been dragged to two heaving bars in Soho, following a meal in a restaurant - which will remain unnamed - which does not have a dessert menu. I'm tired, I'm irritated and I'm craving something sweet, but fear I have missed my chance at some sweet release. I manage to break away from my friends and am hobbling towards Oxford Circus station to head home. My hopes of a sweet treat to round off my evening are fading, when I notice a white light in the distance. That white light was the shop front of Snowflake Soho, who mercifully open until 11pm on a Saturday. I got my gelato and, in turn, my life, and headed home happy, having gotten the closure I needed.
I've visited this dessert shop on a few occasions, usually choosing a waffle or pancake. On this visit I opted for a Lotus Biscoff Milk cake. My friend chose the apple crumble. Initially the milk cake had a lovely sweet milky Biscoff flavour, but after a few more bites it started to feel sickly sweet so I didn't eat it all. My friends crumble was served piping hot with a stingy amount of custard - but the server was happy enough to provide an additional pot. The portion size was perfect with the right amount of fruit and crumble
Came here specifically to experience the infamous avolato! It tastes surprisingly like avocado I really like the hint of citrus which is how they do it on avocado toasts and texture smooth like gelato, the nutty flavours of the core compliments the gelato a lot. It is a lot for one person to finish the whole thing so best to share with another friend, also to lessen the pain to your purse/wallet. This "avocado" costs nearly £10.
The service was way too slow. 4 or 5 people to make few orders. They served our order all on different times. The food is good, but the service can improve. As a person who worked 20 years in costumer service can spot when some team organization is missing. Perhaps the manager has to check the team.
