Having worked in the motor trade for many years myself, I was expecting the usual 'used car buying experience' when looking to test drive and potentially purchase a vehicle for my fiancé, but our experience with the Millfield Motor Company was hugely refreshing. From our first telephone conversation and meeting right through to the test drive, purchase and eventual collection of our new car we found dealing with them an absolute pleasure. Both Martin and Philip were professional, courteous and not at all pushy. They didn't make us feel like just another customer and always listened to us. I have never been impressed enough in the past to actually recommend a used car garage as all of my experiences have been predictably similar, but in this case I have already passed on my recommendations to several of my friends and family and will be calling them again myself when my own car is due for replacement. If you are looking for an honest, friendly and reliable garage that will do exactly what they say, then then look no further than these guys.

Buying a car from a trader is always a moment of Trust. My experience of Millfield was worthy of the 60 miles I had to drive to view and buying a completely different car. They offer a wide range of cars backed up by in house garage facilities, They gave a service, 6 months road tax and 3-6 months warranty, included in the price. The Owner/Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I found a car that suited my criteria online and popped down to Millfield Motors to take a look at the car. I received a warm welcome and was instantly shown to the vehicle I had seen online. Having been shown around the car, I left a deposit and made arrangements to collect the car a few days later. During the whole transaction all the staff have been polite to me, my other half and even went out of their way to include my 11 year old in the process. This garage has the old school values of a used car dealer - they give honest answers to all questions and at no time did they apply any pressure.

I have collected my car today and I am absolutely delighted. The car is in better condition than when I viewed it, they have thoroughly cleaned and polished every part of the car, given it a full service and even renewed the MOT without being asked. In addition to this the car came with a half a tank of petrol - these small extras show the integrity of this business. The unscrupulous traders in this business would never go the extra mile to ensure a customer is delighted.

I honestly believe I have found a garage that I can trust and rely on and will be going back next year to buy a replacement car for my other half.

Based on my own experience I cannot recommend this business enough; phone calls are returned as arranged, every promise kept, no hiding the small print in agreements - just an approach of total honesty and finished off with a car that I am delighted with.

They should be rightly proud of their business.

Bought a car today with the help of Philip found him to be straigh talking, honest and very easy going, nothing like the typical car sales man image. Nothing was too much trouble and were very helpful when arrangung finance. Cannot recommend Millfield motor company enough.

I came to this garage after an awful experiencing in buying a car, my confidence in purchasing a car was on the floor. Well I can not rate this garage enough. The staff made me feel at ease immediately they were very helpful and understanding. On purchasing my car I had a small problem with it, please bare in mind I live quite a distance from Millfield Motor Company,  their mechanic was with me the next day to rectify the problem. I am very impressed with this company and will use them in future as I  feel it would be very hard to find better. Thank you Millfield Motor  Company.
