It's easy to write a good review when everything runs smoothly. However, it's far more meaningful to write a good review when there has been a problem and it's been dealt with as efficiently as John and Rob dealt with ours. By a sheer fluke nobody's fault, our beautiful new car developed a fault just a day after delivery. However, John and Rob were lovely, professional, courteous and honest. We had follow up calls, apologies, reassurances, and all along, total honesty. Car is all sorted now under the warranty, and is just as described in the advert, and I'm delighted with it. I cannot praise Ansell's highly enough, and recommend them to everyone looking for a truly trustworthy car dealer.
I recently bought quite an old 2005 car from Ansells, the mileage was low especially for a diesel and condition was great. After about 2 weeks I got a warning light 'Engine system failure'. I sent an email to John the co-owner and salesman not really hoping for too much due to the age of the vehicle. John however, couldn't have been more helpful. He arranged for me to take the car in for a diagnostic, then let me take the car as it was OK to drive while he and his mechanic went over the results. I took the car back to him a few days later and he kept it for the day returning it to me the following day and hey presto! no further issues since. Well done to John and the guys in the garage. I would gladly recommend Ansells on the strength of this, it is good to find some one you could definitely call Honest John.
We have lived in Lydd last five years and we have used Ansell's garage for my hubby van and my car maintenance. Cannot recommend them highly enough...great service and a great team! Thank you...
These really are great honest guys to deal with, and the cars are first rate. They didn't have to put in the extras I asked for, but they did anyway because they wanted me to have a great service. I bought a freelander in immaculate condition and I couldnt be happier with it. I would recommend them to anyone.
Have spent 40 of My sixty years on this earth looking for a decent garage to look after Me and My car ,not only did they drop Me back home after Id dropped My car off,they didnt charge Me any extra to fit a unforeseen faulty part which ment Me leaving the car with them for a second day.The place is always busy which should tell you that Im not the only one that would not hesitate to book your car in for a first class service,
I work in mobility and we needed a fuse to repair an elderly lady's stairlift. We popped in here and asked and the guy was only too happy to give us a fuse. Nice bloke.
