Mikalas Kitchen

One of my favorite food experiences in the world! I had the mincemeat pie meal and it was exceptionally delicious - on a windy and drizzling day I could not have dreamt of a better lunch! I loved the little space and simplicity, very old school. Maggie took wonderful care of me and I felt very welcome. I cannot pay this establishment enough compliments!

Was there with my wee friend kate yesterday, have been going here for years, it's a family run business, and the girls are all great, can't do enough for you. Food is good and plentiful, lots of choices and they will cook exactly what you want. Place is spotless and covid rules are adhered to.

It's always a great place to have a lovely meal and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a very popular place and it's a very family friendly place to go to. You can sit and enjoy the craic and the food. Plus it's easy on the pocket. It's got what you wud want. So give it a go and I'm sure you'll enjoy a nice ulster fry :- xx

Lovely staff and food is very nice. A homely atmosphere in the cafe too which is always nice, no complaints from me.

Mikala's is not only my favourite place to get a fry, it's also a slice of home and understanding. Everytime I go the fabulous ladies always remember your name and usually your order. I have been going since I was so young and they are child friendly. Seriously go order a fry and a cuppa and enjoy the feeling of sitting in an aunts dining room. That feeling of wonderful people feeding you up and soothing most of your worries with a smile.

This is no 'greasy spoon' this cafe produces fantastic meals at unbelievably modest cost, served with a smile and a cheery word. Don't go past it- in fact go out of your way to sample. Enjoy.

It's cheap, it's tasty and the staff are very kind. There's a homely atmosphere with a lot of regulars and friendly banter between them and the staff. You wouldn't get this level of craic in a chain restaurant.
