The Lounge Café

Went here for lunch. We always like to try somewhere different and this place is always packed. We were early today so got a table straight away. I had the special which was Seafood Chowder and my wife had the Lasagne. Both meals were superb. The lasagne was tasty and well presented and the Seafood Chowder was easily the best I've ever had. My wife had a soda water and lime and I had half a Guinness which was excellent too. Will definitely look for another empty table next time.

Pub food in Belfast is very samey and while there is a decent selection here, £14 for pie and mash is an expensive enough lunch, albeit this is the going rate these days. Queens cafe bar was busy, staff were flat out but remained friendly and the food was decent if not spectacular. A nice little bar in a nice location.Food: 4/5

We walked and sat at the bar in an otherwise empty place and were completely ignored. Stuck up doesn’t come close to describing it. I am in fact the 14th Earl of Shaftesbury so the joke’s on them :Service: 1/5

Food was lovely, lasagne, and Guinness pie , service reallygood ,staff so nice, defo recommend Kid-friendliness: There was a couple in with kids , seemed to be enjoying their food Wheelchair accessibility: One level ,so can move chair to placea wheelchair x

I called in to queen's café for the first time since it reopened. I used to love coming here but I think everyone was having an off day when myself and two friends called. Had to get ourselves menus another table waited another 10 minutes or so and came in just after us, took a while to order. Food came and I can only say it was the most tasteless club sandwich I've ever had. My two friends enjoyed their dishes but they tried mine and agreed. Mentioned it to the waitress but never got any feedback, we weren't offered desserts or tea/coffee so in the end we just paid the bill and left.
