worst clinic. And it's not the only one in this area. With the same status of rubbish people. You call in the morning, wait until they finally pick up and she tells you that there are no more places. I went the next day especially to see how they work. They are very arrogant, of course she said that they won't accept me, that I have to call, so I sat in the waiting room and called, watching what the receptionist is doing. In 0.5 hour she answered one phone and didn't even hear mine. Horrible people. I don't recommend. doctors are always on vacation, they say they will call, maybe they will call
Whilst working away from home in Glasgow. I needed to speak to a doctor. The staff at midlock were very friendly and helpful. I had a prescription within a couple of hours. Great service.
Just the best GP practice out there. Every single GP is so kind and compassionate and will go out of their way to get to the root of the problem. I have always managed to get an appointment for me or my children at any time I needed. Reception staff are also lovely.
Worst doctor I’ve ever dealt with just been on the phone to book an telephone appointment got thought to the receptionist who was so rude talking down to me after I explained I needed to talk to a doctor about my pain medication as they had decided to once again change it without consulting with my as the patient she put me on hold to check for an appointment when she comes on the phone again she tells me I can get an appointment 8 days later I say this can not be right it’s a phone appointment not a physical appointment in the surgery she becomes even more rude and she decides to check again after I encourage her to do so and magically an appointment is now available earlier only 1 day but as I need my medication to be able to for fill my job role without being in agony I agree to this, just for info I broke my back as a teenager and are dealing with issues from that. I would not have chosen this doctor if I knew what they had done to care homes under Covid or to other people so I recommend you research this practice before choosing it I didn’t my biggest mistake
Excellent medical practice. The staff are really friendly, they listen to you and are thorough. I feel in safe hands here.
I was a Midlock patient for 4 years, during a pandemic, and it was great. Everything from a broken thumb to my chronic lung problems and depression were treated here and I always felt supported. Dr Haye was especially good with my work and mental health struggles and some of my wife's health issues. Appointments can sometimes take quite a while, but that's part and parcel of today's underfunded NHS. Great practice, sad to be moving away.
Receptionist always very helpful in trying to arrange an appointment time or call back and after call back I've Always been seen by Doctor/Nurse when requested although I am rarely there I get the treatment and medication I require
Dr Maeve Gilsenan is a pain in the backside, she’s so mean, arrogant, disrespectful, inconsiderate and has such a rude attitude. No matter how much one tries to avoid her as she has NO damn manners on how to communicate properly with patients, even then the unkind and unhelpful receptionists book you in for a consultation with her wasting your time when she’s good for nothing! I wonder who appointed her as the Gp, she should be kicked out of this surgery and should first go and get basic training on how to effectively communicate with patients.
Been with this practice for over 5 years and having some chronic conditions I have relied on them a number of times. Reception staff have always been warm, friendly and helpful. I haven’t had cause to deal with the Practice Nurses but the HCA is great and particularly excellent at phlebotomy. I’ve seen a number of the GP’s here over the years and every one has been great. Highly professional, compassionate, caring and supportive. They listen and despite the time pressures on primary care they never rush you. They’ve done a fantastic job coping through the pandemic. It’s also great to see how they involve students on placements there. A brilliant surgery I would recommend for anyone in the catchment area.
Some doctors are unqualified and should be ashamed of calling themselfes doctors. I have a condition that was diagnosed in another country and when I came asking for help saying I have pains in my organs they said 'I am too young to have issues like that' and advices to take iron. Their receptionists often times have serious anger issues and will speak to you rudely for no good reason or possibly their own errors. Avoid.
