Had a bottle of cider thurs afternoon. Sat by the window watched the world go by. Pub was on the quiet side but still had a good atmosphere. Background music not to loud. The chatter of staff and locals added to a wee pub i like.
Absolutely brilliant time at Jacksons, staff and patrons make you feel welcome, perfect for a sub crawl, if your into karaoke even better, after speaking with the manager they can arrange a buffet also highly recommended.
Bar staff stood ignored while chatting and moved once to try get served, nice pint once got it.
Reasonably priced good which was really tasty. Not a big menu but still decent. Lovely staff. Great location for shopping or theatre.
Great wee find, dog friendly which makes it even better, staff very friendly, only complaint would be karaoke would be better if they had big screens so you could see the words rather than reading of a laptop other than that Great wee place.
Busy pub with karaoke on early. Good selection of drinks and just outside the busiest part of the city centre that you will most likely get in and served.
Lovely landlady. Fantastic roast beef meal just a fiver. Thank you very much. Xx
