Have done a 2365 level 2 and level 3 here. Started so well but gradually gone to pot. Empty promises made regarding finishing dates, poorly run, workshop materials atrocious. Look elsewhere if you plan to study here.

Done my nvq level 2 plumbing here, had 5 tutors, 3 nvq assessors and has taken nearly 3 years. They are completely useless and don't want to help you at all. Find another college and don't waste you're time and money on this joke of a college

When finding out info about a course nobody is sure of the course price. It can range from being told 2k a year - extra hundreds on top (£600 on top of what I was told to be exact - not a few quid out or pocket change), the college doesn't renew learning equipment enough so most of the equipment you use is battered and broke, some of the lecturers have at this college passed students knowing really they haven't done enough to pass and some of the lecturers are lazy and just want to go home early. You pay all this money to learn at college and do work at college yet you have to go home and research the majority of it. Not some of it, most of it. If I knew I had to pay to take work home all the time and do homework then I wouldn't of done the course in the first place. If you have a complaint and want to go above your lecturer there is nobody around to complain to and nobody at reception knows who you need to see. Also last of all if you are paying all this money to learn at the college you would of thought they would assist you in finding a job in your chosen trade but nope, no help at all. I would of gave this college a 1 star only but some of the lecturers here are ok and helpful in ways.

The course was of good quality, there were a range of units and had tutors that genuinely cared about our success. There were some issues with Maths / English placements at one point, as well as some time tables that weren't particularly ideal. Sometimes communication between students and staff in professional positions isn't as it should be. I say this because I have been told things that turned out not to be true and cost me time and money. However, there are adequate facilities to complete work and staff who generally know what they are doing. If this is the most realistic option in terms of College education, I would consider this one as an option. Especially, if it has a course that is of interest. Overall, I wouldn't want to be there for more than the duration of one vocational course, but it's alright, as long as work properly and you get what you came for...
