I believe in the future of this school. The students want to do well. Having joined this school in September 2017, I know that this school is turning things round. As far as English is concerned, I believe I am making a difference to the English curriculum and learning.

The examination questions are harder but the pass mark has reverted to 18% .The same proportion of students get the same grades as in previous years -hence little has changed. What a pleasure it was to see Ms X. not chewing gum and hanging around the MP examination hall with her crew.She has impressively developed her silver tongue skills .

Terrible! We have had so many problems with Medway UTC. Teachers and students timetables don't match, so many teachers leave. My son had 5 different teachers for A level Computer Science and the school admitted they couldn't recruit any teachers to teach the subject which resulted in many students dropping out and only 2 students gained a grade. Timetables had lesson clashes, GCSE resits were not timetabled or taught properly. In total my son had 1 Lesson a week for 4/5 weeks in the whole year to get him through his resit. We ended up getting a private tutor. Teachers not turning up to lesson. I could go on! If you are considering sending your child here I would think twice! This is your child's future, unfortunately my son has really been let down by UTC !
