Visited early on Sunday. Disabled parking can sometimes be accessed in a small layby near the bingo. Spaces are Limited though, we always check and go around roundabout just incase. Fairly empty of shoppers this time of day, and I'd say 50/50 wearing face masks. Looked clean and plenty of cleaning stations. Good selection of Shop's were open. Pretty much everything you could need, and the camera seemed popular. Lift and escalators all working and accesible. One criticism is that there doesn't appear to be standard opening hours, as some Shop's were closed. It's a huge improvement over what it was a few years back. I would definitely recommend a visit to support local business.
Not enough seating areas .when you have a disability and can't walk for long you need to sit so i would like to see more bench areas... staff lovely... cleaner great..
A decent range of useful shops and nice eateries. Just loses a star because of the appalling new car parking arrangements which have caught out a number of people with their lack of clarity and unfair charges merely for using their app to pay unlike the spindles in Oldham. In fact the whole system was in such disarray that all parking charges were suspended in December until the end of 2022. It remains to be seen whether the powers that be come to their senses and employ a fairer car parking company for the new year or shock horror make parking free to entice more footfall.
Hadn't been to Middleton for a few years but wasn't disappointed. Good choice of shops and it was busy and parking prices cheaper than Oldham and Ashton only 50p up to 2hrs and £1 up to 4hrs. Definitely worth a visit will be going more often now.
This place is a lot larger than I thought it would be, there are so many different shops and even charity shops. Anything you need I am sure you can find. Great cafés.
Had no cash for the parking machine the contactless wasn't working on both machine's for all customers as there was a queue. There was a poster on the slidding doors with a QR code telling you to download the app which my wife scanned with her phone thought we had paid for parking after entering bank details etc so we drove off. Got home found it was a fraudulent site as took more money. Cancelled the bank card etc and I rang Middleton security shopping centre for advice then downloaded correct app and paid again. Then got a fine and Appealed and told should of paid be for we left the carpark not after. Thank you for the £100 fine. As we shop at Middleton at least 3 times per month we will go elsewhere to shop. As I'm sure many other shoppers will do the same. It's not hard to work out the maths. Seems your determined to shut the shopping centre due to not enough footfall. Nice block of apartments just saying
Excellent place to in Middleton instead of travelling all the way to Manchester and avoid all the big crowds. A great selection or shops including, WH Smith, Greggs, Superdrug’s, DCM menswear, Holland & Barrett ,Harvey’s jewelleries, a post office & much more. 3 floors of shops with a medical practice built in on one of the floors, ideal for local people in need of treatment. Really clean and tidy inside with a Coffee shop built in which serve all good beverages and snacks. Middleton Shopping Centre also has an elevator to get you from floor to floor if you have difficulty walking so it’s ideal. The shopping centre also has its own post office with cash machine & everything else you need for parcels and stuff. Only bad thing is I couldn’t find any toilets. I had to walk all the way to McDonald’s,Other than that Middleton Shopping Centre is highly recommended for you.
Clean and tidy. Pleasant atmosphere. Special thanks to Security who noticed I'd foolishly left my car open and tracked me to Spec savers! Much appreciated and excellent service!!
The Arndale really needs flattening and replacing with something up to date, with a better range of stores. Half the shops are empty and those that are tenanted are a very sad mix of bargain shops and charity shops. Everything is closed by 6pm. Would be great to see some decent restaurants, bowling, cinema and free parking to encourage people with money to spend into Middleton town centre.
Many shop and cafe here easy to park car and walk in to shopping centre got lift here
