Had my eldest son's birthday party here. 2 rounds of bowls, party food and a goody bag for £8.50 a child! The staff were polite and attentive and everything was well organised. They also have an onsite trampoline park if you prefer that or do both.

AVOID!!!! Waited 15 minutes to be seen at the till, paid to bowl to then be told there was a 10 minutes wait for a lane. Waited 40 minutes before asking what was going on to be told a lane would be ready in 5 minutes. After another 20 minutes we were finally given a lane. Then we found out the lane didn't work so we were moved to another lane, which also wasn't working. We were moved again to a third Lane which also didn't work. We decided that was enough and asked for a refund to be told their policy doesn't give refunds!!!! How can you be charged and not given what you paid for??? The staff were absolutely awful, wondered around not doing anything, huge queues and they just stood around chatting or seemed to hide in the kitchen doing anything to avoid the line of people building up asking for refunds. Almost all the lanes weren't working with bowling balls stuck in almost every Lane and lanes completely shutting down randomly. And to make it worse they were still taking people's money and not telling them the lanes weren't working. The place needs shutting down.

The bowling lane machinery broke down after every second and third time a ball was bowled. It reset the pins as you bowled. Or it didn't reset them at all. And you would get one bowling ball down the lane and it would then move to the next player. And on occasion it would give the next player 3 attempts. All this whilst the machinery was breaking down. The staff took an age to come and sort it out. Didnt seem like they were bothered too much by it trashing the game. And instead of resetting the game to the beginning or swapping us to another lane. We were given a piece of paper hand written free game for the next time we came. That went in the bin. I have been here twice before so 3 times over 3 years and encountered the same thing. Wont be using this facility again. Its unreliable. And as for the staff.. I've seen more fizz in an alka-seltzer.

Like a time machine back to the 90s but run down into the ground. Absolutely avoid, staff don't care and the lanes will break all the time. Our lane broke after every turn, was moved to a different lane and given a voucher for a free hour if we returned. We decided to finish off the game and then the voucher was taken back by the staff!

Absolutely great, Dylan kept checking up on us to make sure we were enjoying our time. Service has improved a lot since I last visited. Me and my sister both agree we'd go back just to see Dylan again, he made us feel so welcome and made our night! - eliza&sadie
