Absolutely terrible experience here. I have left this branch today feeling awful and humiliated, never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Went to open an account yesterday afternoon thinking that this is apparently a quick, forward thinking bank with great customer service. Couldn't be further from the truth. Lady asks me for ID I have with me my drivers license and also birth certificate as my passport is currently being renewed. She says, as I am 28 the birth certificate is of no use but the drivers licence is sufficient to open an account. So she does everything and tells me the account will be open today and I will get a card on the same day. Then there seems to be a problem with their system and it's taking ages so I tell them I'll come back tomorrow, she calls me and tells me it's still not going through and tells me to bring a proof of address with me when I come in. I come in with a proof of address and see another woman, Shivdip, who starts basically asking me for everything again. I tell her that I have already given all this info and was just told to come in with a bank statement. She starts looking at me funny without really saying anything so I ask her if there is an issue as she asked for my licence again even though the woman the day before already took everything down. She says that I have a birthmark (a tiny spot near my nose) and she can't see it on the drivers licence!! And that the picture doesn't look like me! Having dealt with people's ID etc for the last 12 years this is probably the most ludicrous thing I have heard but on top of that this ID was already checked and OK'd the day before. These incompetent idiots told me to come all the way in, me having to male arrangements bringing my baby with me and taking time of work just to basically call me a fraud. I am absolutely disgusted.

I just wanted to say that I have never had such a nice warm welcome into a bank branch than that of what I had today in Windsor! I was only going in to change a bit of money into Euros but after the experience I have just had, I am
Now after being with Barclays for over 25 years going to change to this bank! Saloni and Julie are two of the most warming and welcoming people that I have come across, they are truely a credit to the store and company. I guess this is what happens when your staff are very happy doing what they do! Thank you ladies, I will be back.
