Their page stated they served until 9pm which was verified 2 weeks ago. This is not true. We arrived at 8.35 and were told they stop serving at 8.30. They did agree to serve myself and partner as it was my birthday. My 18yr old son and his 3 18 yr old friends son were refused drinks as 1 only had his college pass. Unfortunately I can't comment on food as we cancelled and left. They need to update their serving times.

Lovely atmosphere. Lovely helpful staff. Been here a good number of times. Once with my family for a birthday meal treat. 15 of us. Food was lovely and really good value. Special offers on through the week. Parking is free ,but you have to give your reg number at the bar on a tablet. Going back tomorrow for my husbands birthday meal.Food: 5/5

I LOVE this pub! It's a part of my Tranmere Rovers game tradition!! I always come in and get my Strongbow - no matter how crowded it is in here, I'm ALWAYS served with a smile! I absolutely love this local pub!! SWA!!Service: 5/5
Large, busy pub. It was 5 pm, so the pub was busy with families eating meals. Bar staff are friendly and efficient. I had a pint of Green King IPA which was obviously not used much or the barrel was on the turn, so it tasted like vinegar. Tried to take it back, but it was so busy, so I gave up. We left and moved to another pub. Not many bitters on offer, but lots of lagers to choose from.
