Nice walk between the shops nice to see a town that has made the effort to put out more seating than just a park bench and also a play area for the kids.

Great range of shops. Marlins staff always friendly. Clean and tidy with plenty of seating and games in the summer. Love all the special events. Maree in Ty Hafen always has a smile and a great bargain.

Carmarthen was a nice little market town, now ruined by town planners. The market, sanitised and sidelined, in its place, department stores peddling the same old same old. The small traders have been driven away, here is nothing different here now, nothing that you won't find in any other depressing corporate retail estate.

Once the site of a medieval Friary. A place of learning, sanctuary, worship and industry, Merlin's Walk is now a faded municipal shopping arcade. One or two nice touches, including the 12(?) foot high statue of Merlin, and deckchairs for the weary of Poundland and Matalan.
