Nice hotel, clean and with good, friendly staff. Noisy rooms. My neighbouring room had a guy who snores. I could hear him too easy with a wall between us. Why? Bar and meals area were ok though. King sized bed had a valley in the middle as it was 2 divans. It's amazing when your asleep how often you fall into the valley!!!

Sent on goose chase to three receptions waiting for staff at each one. buildings work In progress. Dirty pool very small cramped. Steam room door not closing so did not work floors slippy wood in sauna seat splintered. The layout was poor walk throw gym to get to pool. Very small room to communal changing room no hand drying forcilities in toilet one small hairdryer working well kind of. No toilets next to pool so walk back thew gym up to toilet. Spa treatments lovely staff kind friendly welcoming other staff encountered not

Visited as a new member of the gym and spa. Very compact and well equipped gym which was quiet and relaxing. Afterwards we relaxed in the pool sauna and steam room. Very good value for money with informative staff.

Had a fantastic time here. The staff couldn't do anymore for me and my group. We had 18 in the group and the food that was provided was brilliant. Hotel is a 20ish pound taxi to the centre of Newcastle. 5* service and experience

This was the fourth New Years Eve event my friends and I have attended at the George Washington Hotel and it didn't disappoint. The cost for a room and breakfast, plus the event on the night is great value. The food is fab and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff accommodated all of our requests including giving us our chosen rooms and adding extra people to our party with no issues. We will definitely be going back.
