Like many people who have enjoyed sport throughout their life, I developed a painful and restrictive injury which resulted in lower back, hip and knee pain and ultimately bouts of sciatica. I had visited my GP on too many occasions and been referred for physiotherapy just as many times, to no avail. For unconnected reasons I met Helen and hearing of the Mend approach to physiotherapy, I booked an appointment with her and received treatment and support from both Helen and Kate. The difference with Mend? They analysed, advised, motivated and corrected. They provided great video material to help me navigate the exercises at home, and they kept precise records of agreements on what needed to be done before the next appointment. Whats more, they checked carefully that I had done it! Ultimately, through good science, skill and experience, combined with a great approach to patient care they fixed me......quickly. I’m fully fit, back enjoying my sport, and delighted with the expert support that Mend provided to get me there. Thank you.
I have had a hip complaint for a long time and tried various physiotherapists but with no improvement. I have received 5 treatments at Mend Physio and my injury improved following the second visit. I am not saying it was painless but well worth it, to be nearly pain free. I would recommend Helen and her team to everyone. A professional experienced team who won't waste your money. Excellent location with great parking.
I had a number of sessions with Kate, the physiotherapist at Mend, and I am thoroughly impressed with my experience. Not only has Kate helped me regain movement in my ankle after surgery - she has given me exercises and advice on how to tackle the mental side of recovery as well. Cannot recommend enough.
We have used Mend Physio to support our lovely team of hard working gardeners, landscapers and foresters. Helen is very clever .... she takes time to learn about each individual and has the most clever technique. She is a highly sensitive, intuitive and a skilled practitioner. I cannot recommend Mend highly enough. This is definitely a 5* practice.
I had a great experience with Mend after injuring my ankle. The team were great and ensured I was back where I needed to be so I could be pain free and enjoy travelling without any limitations or pain. Would definitely recommend!
Wanted to take a minute to express my absolute delight in finding Mend Physio - I was suffering from a knee injury which was preventing me from running and climbing. I worked with the team and followed the advised pro gram to the letter. I can’t believe how much stronger, fitter & faster I have become. Most important of all is that I no longer suffer from pain. Helen is extremely passionate, experienced and skilful at always getting to the root of the problem. If you're serious about getting better , Helen and the team at Mend are the place to go!!
I had a course of physio to build up strength in my legs and glutes to alleviate foot pain, and tightness in my Achilles. Very friendly and professional people.
Mend sorted out my back so quickly. I'd highly recommend having treatment with them if you are suffering any form of pain.
