We had the Menagerie Afternoon Tea with champagne for my sister's birthday. The food was excellent and not to dissimilar price-wise to other afternoon tea's in Manchester. Great if you want something a little bit quirky rather than traditional. Service was ok however the manager gave us what was quite clearly the wrong bill (brunch for 4 when we were only a table of 2...). This was rectified very quickly. We also watched him knock a few glasses off the bar onto an area of floor which customers had to walk over. He made no attempt to clean this up therefore a waiter had to do this when he discovered the broken glass quite a while later. We visited early afternoon so it was quite quiet, though we did notice the volume of the music was gradually being increased so it was difficult to hear what we and the servers were saying. I'd definitely recommend visiting around the time of day we did. Based on other reviews (and the volume of the music even when we were there), I think the experience would be ruined in the evening.

Tried to get a drink in there last night and was approached by a guy instead of me approaching the bar..(strange).. 2 couples aged in there 40's we were. Have you booked a table?? No I said. Sorry can't come in. Can I use the toilet I asked? No you'll take ages getting to it. Well what a Burke indeed. Although if I pulled up in my rs4 maybe I would have fitted it with all the hired/daddy's 4x4's parked outside. As we walked away 2 girls said don't bother is s*** in there. So guy with patches on your elbows on your jacket hope you had a nice evening.. Next time don't be such an ass.

Went with a friend. Was absolutely fantastic. Staff were friendly, the girl who arranged our seating was very personable. Food was good and there was even a bit of entertainment!

save your money, worst meal I've ever had. Manager was not even bothered that I was unhappy with my meal. You expect nice food for the prices.

Amazing restaurant, the customer service was outstanding and the food was heavenly. They also have a photo booth which takes and prints out pictures. It is decorated beautifully, would definitely visit again
