Visited late afternoon around 3PM so was relatively empty but luckily for us still serving lunch. We were all very hungry and skipped starters and ordered main course straight away. The chilly paneer was very spicy but the chilly in the name should have warned us about it. Otherwise the food was good and cheerful waiter was very friendly. Nothing extraordinary about this restaurant but nothing to complain about either. More expensive than Indian restaurants elsewhere, but, to be expected given the location.
4 of us had a lateish lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty when we arrived but filled up a bit around 3/4pm. Prices reasonable given the area, standard mains about £14 per dish. Wine was well priced too, decent bottles about £34. Murgh chicken tikka masala portion was a bit skimpy and would have benefitted from a few more pieces of chicken. We ordered two different lamb chop dishes, one from the tandoor oven, a little over cooked. The other from the chefs specials with a sauce which was pretty good. Overall decent food, not stand out but would happily return there.
I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. It’s a must whenever I’m in London! The food is delicious, of a very high quality, and a good variety of Indian dishes are offered. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are friendly. All the curry dishes I’ve had are outstanding. It is a classic London curry house. Kid-friendliness: There was plenty of space for my son’s stroller and the staff were very friendly with him.
We went here with three tired kids after a long day of sightseeing. Lovely dinner, everything was great. The food was great and came very quickly, the service friendly and highly attentive. Everyone really liked the food. Definitely coming back next time in London!Food: 5/5
I was taking a trip for the day to see family and we happened to find this restaurant. Well let me tell you, this is the best Indian restaurant I have found in the UK. The authentic flavours of the curries and even the chai bring tremendous taste and strong nostalgia. This place has my most enthusiastic recommendation. Vegetarian options: The true test of vegetarian food is that you don't miss the meat whatsoever and this place does that very well.

The food was well prepared, staff very attentive. we visited this place twice while we were in London because we enjoyed the food so much. It was within walking distance of our hotel on Cromwell. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the dishes they serve. I look forward to visiting again when I return to London.

One of the best Indian food we have ever had! Amazing taste with wonderful and warm service. Everyone seemed happy working as they laughed and joked with each other and the customers. They made us feel at home. Definitely a memorable dinner for us in London.
