Once in a while you find somewhere that exceeds your expectations and this was one of those. We had a delicious lunch with home baked ham, real chips, beautifully cooked eggs and a lovely ploughman's plate. I had my first salted caramel milkshake with ice cream - I didn't want it to end! The staff were well presented and friendly. I can't recommend this place highly enough and I'm encouraging our friends to visit. Thank you.
Warm tasty scone with raspberry jam and a pot of tea. It’s a shame the teapot spilt my tea every time it was used; please consider replacing them. My mum had a toastie which she enjoyed. Limited indoor seating so be aware that you may have to take lunch outside even in rainy conditions!
We came here every morning whilst we were staying at the rock retreat at download festival, so it was only a 5 minute walk to the hall. The service was amazing from the minute we walked in. All the staff were incredibly friendly and chatty and the food was lovely. Great atmosphere in the nicest little town. Will 100% be back again next year. Thank you guys
Food was excellent!nNipped to the loo on the way out, in serious need of attention. Both toilets and the sink were running water constantly, the door was grimey and in a poor state.
Growing up In Melbourne I have always loved visiting for lunch with my son, family or friends however recently I visited and was left disappointed and shocked by the lack of customer service skills the young girls have, being made to wait in the rain for a table and not being listened to when I said I have a disability and couldn’t wait outside…in the rain. After being spoken to the way I was a complaint has been lodged by me and my family and we will not be returning.
