About

Authentic, home-made Lebanese food in relaxed surroundings near Earls Court.

Story

We have an extensive menu including many seafood dishes from the coast, alongside dishes from the interior (often lamb or chicken). Our selection of mezze is extensive and includes some delicacies such as sweetbreads and frogs legs. Our main dishes include many family recipes from the owner’s Lebanese family which are unique to us. We also offer a wide selection of grills and other traditional dishes so there is something for everybody. Couple this with an extensive wine list, including many wines from Lebanon, Syria and the New and Old World and you have a Lebanese restaurant unlike the others.

The staff are very hospitable from the moment you enter but I was rather disappointed about the food after all the reviews I read. If you're a tourist or not Middle Eastern, you'll be happily ambivalent to eating here. You may even find it "eclectic". But to someone Middle Eastern, you can't help but notice all the shortcomings which are very obvious. I ordered the Humus Awarma. The consistency of the Hummus was far too thick and although the meat was okay, it had been drenched in olive oil. A poor attempt at camouflaging a poorly done mezze. Their Fattoush £7.50 salad was made well with fresh ingredients and crispy thin bread. For mains , I had the Kibbeh Lahme £7.75 which is a traditional dish of meat balls in yoghurt sauce eaten with rice. The yoghurt sauce was too thick and needed thinning; a rather elementary mistake which could have been fixed very easily. Prices are average. The experience was not great. Food I would say is passable. Definitely not great.
Just come back home after long travelling to this tasteful restaurant. Worth every penny... It's basically home made food from scratch, with professional touch, no doubt about... Top class dining for reasonable prices. House wine will surprise you... Will surely visit again and bring my business meetings here too. Lovely private area that I heard you can book in advance. Thanks to the team for wonderful experience. Will see you soon.
Absolutely delicious food and incredible service! Would recommend to anyone. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the cocktails we had were on point. Will definitely be coming back. Hands down best Lebanese cuisine in the area! .5 Stars.
Very friendly staff and great food. Our family of 6 ate here and we ordered a lot of different starter dishes mezze and we liked them all as well as a few of the main dishes. I must say the food was as good if not better than most Lebanese restaurants in Kuwait where I'm from.
The young lady that was working was amazing very polite and helpful. On the other hand the food had a wonderful smell but the taste was weird the next day my stomach wasn’t right bare in mind this was the only place I went to eat all day! Don’t get me wrong some of the dishes were amazing ! For example the CHIPS !!! Amazing !
We get take out from here on a regular basis. The food is good and tasty. My only criticism is that sometimes the wraps can be short of meat and I also wish they had a better way of keeping the food hot when it’s a delivery order.
Drinks are quite expensive. Burger was good, but could have been better. Larger variety of food to choose from, wraps, salads, burgers, and lots of traditional dishes. I'm sure if you're into Lebanese food you will like it, just not my cup of tea.
This place is special to us, if you are keen on reading go ahead or else just know it’s a 5/5 place and any complains here are probably just a one off or someone who has a palate that this place wouldn’t serve to. Back to this place, in 2015 Wife and me arrived in London and while walking around late afternoon found this place, got in and there was this lovely guy who seemed like he was closed for lunch but turns out he would accommodate us, and he did in glory, the food was fab, I believe it was a mixed grill and everything was yummy enough to ask more of irrespective of the stomach size : Now what’s special? Wife was very uneasy next morning and we take her to a doc, guess what? She’s Pregnant : How happy is this? It’s 2019 now and our daughter is 2 and a half, and we just got her to Uk for a holiday and while we are staying at Green Park couldn’t help but not get her to a place that’s so special for Wife and me, we get to the same place and it’s as beautiful as ever and there is a new host she’s lovely and the food was as amazing as ever even though it was Iftar time they still managed to serve food as good as it can be! And I was able to complete a circle of life that began with us knowing we soon will be parents and feeding the end result Daughter here. The greatest surprise? There is now a gorgeous Piano where we sat and nothing could be more soothing! Now for a complain : This isn’t a complain but people with sense of humor will get it better “Get the Fatteh Sorry if this is a wrong spelling” back on the menu all the last 3 years in New York we have been trying to find that as good as it was in this place and now they took it off the menu :P! Each time I’m in London / UK I would ensure a visit and I highly recommend anyone else visiting London do this, it’s just such a warm place heart fills with joy : Thank you for the Food / Fatteh & our Fairy :
Not very good at all. The service was terrible one guy serving. Some food was nice beans others were poor fried chicken, squid. There was basically no atmosphere here.
What a gem of a place. Amazing flavours!!
