Easy car park to find on the sat nav no problems. You’ve got easy public transport links from here and it’s only a ten/fifteen minute walk to the Coronation Street tour, so if you’re thinking of going to that I’d recommend to park here. There is a discount price at the weekend as well. I find it a little cheaper than the city centre car parks. Only gripe I’ve got is it’s not lit well enough really in my opinion. Signs are all easy to follow in and out though.
Pretty expensive to park, but it’s in a great location if you’re in the area for filming or anything else. Premier Inn validate parking making a 24hr stay just £11 instead of £30+, but only applies to stays of 6+ hours and if you leave and return that timer would reset as expected. EV Chargers were in good condition and offer 11kW, available via evyve app and cost 66p/kWh which again is expensive but convenient, especially if you’re at any of the studios for a few hours for filming etc., as you’ll more than likely get the charge you need to get home. From memory around 8 bays on the second floor and strict signage about blocking chargers.
Lisa is amazing. She’s so helpful and has restored my faith in humanity. Also the car park is pretty good too. Loads of spaces and easy to move around in. Perfect for media city and the Lowry.
Be aware that access is only 1.8m. Online search seemed to suggest 2.1m. That is a problem if you have a van. I would recommend parking on Trafford road at the car park by the matchstick man pub although be aware very limited spaces
Good car park and reasonable prices for location... easy to access/exit, well lit and good sized spaces. This is my preferred car park for visiting The Lowry... a little further 10 minutes walk away but less congested at the end of a show. Ideal location for anything MediaCity related too with spaces for over 6,000 vehicles.
I parked here, a short walk to where I was going. I’m quite lazy really so that was good, it was where i knew it was. It was the same distance coming back from where I had been, so convenient. But maybe not for you, it depends on where you are going. Here You can pretended you are going to go on the telly, do you hair for free in the lift, have a photo with Tinky Winky. I could not think of any better way to spend £4.50, apart from on a Diet Coke at Wagamama’s, which was a bit of a rip off but tasty okay.
Worked very very well. I never thought I’d review a car park but this one’s actually brilliant. The price isn’t to expensive. But it is so conveniently situated for visiting media city that’s its a no brainier to use.
Handy location but overpriced car park. For this price, I don’t understand why there isn’t an app to pay for monthly passes.
Barriers to exit are very unreliable - happened on my last 3 visits. Stuck for 40 minutes yesterday from 10.30pm after the Liverpool game - needs sorting ASAP. Anyone else had this problem ?
Really nice car park but extortionate prices, especially when you’re there multiple days a week
